Yeah, but this time they aren't playing well at all. The downside to them not winning probably means Arsenal win though. So it's a lose lose unless we can do something ourselves or Guardiola changes something at City.

They were solid defensively last season.

VVD moving like molasses & Konate has regressed.

I'm not saying you guys are wrong but VVD and Konate can easily be changed or get out of the funk they're in.

They’ve just been saying on Radio 5 about how upset we were that he left for Liverpool. They say he left as he saw it as a better path to first team football there.

In the midst of their predictable circle jerk at our expense, did they ever discuss how sh*t Liverpool are defensively and how Wirtz is on fraud watch?

Another very disappointing anti Liverpool night for me. Hey ho

I have to hope that their older players fade asap and Wirz and co carry on as theyve started. 11 minutes of injury time may have been correct but what other team would get it. VVD was reffing the game throughout.

Liverpool can be rattled and more teams should see this and have a go at them.

It has to be Arsenals year. That level of investment in top, senior players. Best defence, best on set pieces. Best first 11 In the league for me.

Either they will it, they win the CL or Arteta has to go.

Actually, there's very little about the lad on Talk sport apart from obviously him scoring the winner , his age , . Most of the stuff is about their defensive shortcomings and how the best team lost . They were talking about a player who looked like a rabbit in the headlights, might have been the fraud you mentioned ??

Everyone knows now they can be got at, they gotta blow up soon I reckon 😂

sh*te result, but a cracking game , silly f**ker Gordon getting sent off was a disaster.

Newcastle at 2 nil down and a man down, I nearly switched it off, couldn't bear the thought of watching that lot smashing in loads of goals.

I know PSR and a possible disruptive influence in the squad would be factors to contend with, but I would love The Barcodes to refuse to sell Isak to the scousers.

I don't think finances are a concern for them. If he stays, great, if he goes, anything north of 100m is going to be worth 2-3 signings a year for the next three years, with the way PSR works. Financially, the worst case scenario is actually that they lose him for free without being successful enough to exploit financially. I actually think his sale would be like (ironically) how Liverpool sold Suarez for 65m and reinvested to improve the depth of their squad, eventually landing players like Salah, Firmino and Mane.

I'd want them to keep him, because Howe with squad depth is an actual threat, and because the Scouse victim tears would be f**king hilarious.

Worst part is, Arsenal are without Saka & Odegaard and of course, that’s the exact time Liverpool get to play them. So so typical.

If we're being honest, it's been a few months since those two were Arsenal's best players. Saka is never fit and Odegaard has forgotten what a football is.

300M spent, but I do not feel that Liverpool have improved at all. And they still have to replace Salah and Van Dijk next season, or the season after. Plus Konate that is going to leave on a free.

I just can't see them winning anything major this season. They look unbalanced and their two best players are past their prime. Still quality, but hard to believe that Salah will put the same kind of crazy numbers and Liverpool's terrible depth will not allow Van Dijk much time to rest.

Wirtz is also a good player, but for 130M you either bring an Mbappe type of player that totally transforms your attack, or some sort of playmaker that sprays asissts left and right. Wirtz does not look anything close to this so far. I know it's early days and he needs to adapt, but he does not look like a 130M generational player. A 70-80M talent yes, but nothing more than that.

Such an undeserved win by the dippers. Totally outplayed for majority of game by 10 men and the bar-codes deserved at least a point, Had to be our ex youth player to get the winner. I know little about him - did we get a fee for him or was he too young when he left? Hate the dippers but fair play to Slot for throwing on a 16 year old in such a big game.

Not sure who I hate more - Liverpool or Arsenal. Hope for a draw at the weekend.

I feel Arsenal are also playing them at a good time. Frimpong is injured and that RB area is a problem. I mean they had Szoboszlai playing there today ffs 😀 but on top of that Eze can take Odegaard's spot immediately. He is match-fit and used to the league and right now probably a better player. Saka is a big miss but this is the sort of game where Madueke can trouble Kerkez who looks suspect defensively. Also think Liverpool are missing another addition in attack. Looks unbalanced and can see Arsenal causing problems.

Even f**king Szoboszlai 😂.

He was scoring belters like Lampard in Germany. Now he’s a £70m water carrier that the media won’t ever talk about.

Christ I can’t wait for them to be sh*t again.

The media don’t go after Liverpool players.

The media would rather ignore it and not upset the scousers.

The way the media went after Caicedo was horrible, a 21 year old constantly being told he wasn’t worth the money we paid for him.

It could have mentally destroyed him but luckily he came through it.

There is so many examples that we are treated differently to other clubs.

Looked like a cracking match yesterday, for me Liverpool are still the team to beat and had never heard of two of their scorers so it looks like they have strengthened. Not sure about Arsenal, Jorginho, Havertz and Madueke.

Impressive to see the Barcodes come back from 2 down yet a Liverpool youngster ensures the points go to Anfield.

Definitely not a rival but one of our former players, Marc Guehi started his career at Cray Wanderers. Should be a good talk. Unfortunately I won't be able to go as have to work. But for anyone who lives in the area and/or has an interest in the history of football.
