Lol.. to be fair we could have wrapped up the deal as early as Jan using a permanent move for Azpi as a negotiating tool. We knew what his release clause was & had a good relationship with his agent.

Madrid are the only club on the planet that when they show interest in a player there is no point anyone else trying. Absolutely enormous pull and the world’s biggest side. Best we can take from this is that at least our scouts are doing their job and identifying this talent right.

For me rather than Huijsen why didn't we try to get Ekitike. I was so high on Jackson because it is very hard to find st who can go short and long. I have watched Ekitike twice and this guy can do that plus hix box movement is so much better than Jackson.

But we now have Pedro & Delap who were both a lot less than £79m Ekitike and are both a lot better than Jackson.

My objection to Hujisen wasn't based on his ability, it was purely that I believe Josh given the same opportunities/gametime would be just as good if not better.

Let's not forget Real Madrid were also eagerly after Josh too.

Just got into Europe, then decide to sell their best player. They've always been a selling club, but they are being stupid by not finding replacements.
