July 5Jul 5 For anyone who follows football year around—most around here—this result shouldn’t be that surprising; they are all players of similar caliber with Norway edging with their #9 and #10 and that shouldn’t be a surprise.Odegaard when fit is for me one of the best CAMs around. There is nothing like haaland in Brazil. This Brazil team have very striking similarities to the German team: aging starters some moving to MLS and others playing in the Brazilian league.Norway were the best side for me especially in the second half. Yes Brazil could/should have scored earlier, but football is an odds game. Don’t particularly like the way this Brazil team play. Edited July 5Jul 5 by acaeus

July 5Jul 5 Had a lovely reminder email from work on Friday that ‘Although we all want it to come home, the most important thing is that you come home safely so please ensure you’re in a fit and ready state on Monday morning at 07:30 to begin a productive, efficient but most importantly safe day’…I won’t be opening the Sub til at least 10 now.
July 5Jul 5 England to win 2-1😎England wil control the game from start to finish scoring one goal in each half. Mexico will get a consolation goal late in the game. Tuchel will combat the altitude by using substitutes at half time in midfielder and wide players saving just one sub for injuries/ emergencies. After all the drama and talk of black arts etc it will be a routine victory.( all in my parallel universe ) Edited July 5Jul 5 by OTL

July 5Jul 5 f**k sake, can't they show us what's happening in Mexico instead of gassing away in the studio ?
July 6Jul 6 This is f**king purgatory ! Not a clap of thunder 😆 Got a bad feeling about this other than the 9/1 I got on Bellingham to score first
July 6Jul 6 Had to remove the thread! Google had flagged it for defamatory content a few weeks back, so I had to go through and move all the posts that hinted at it out of the thread. Pretty sure it was seen as racism, and the below.A few reports in tonight, and I am not going to sit through going through every post before it gets flagged again. All I will say is, if you feel a certain person, be it a global figure or whoever, as incorrectly labelled with zero evidence and zero charges against them.... then that isn't seen in a good light by Google, and they will punish websites for it. I have said what I can without spelling it out.Back to the football!
July 6Jul 6 Massive save by Pickford. What an impressive stat for Mexico at Azteca - P89, W70, D17, only lost twice.
July 6Jul 6 Love that Google and social media companies are happy to censor talk of public figures by pressuring forum admins, but actual racism gets a free pass when players implored social media companies to do more about racist abuse.Anyway, to the England game - this should be a narrow but easy win for England, Mexico currently making the mistake of holding possession against a Tuchel-ball team.
