I don't think he'll play for us that much again! A few appearance 'til January> ANC> returns with injury> hands in transfer request!> leaves in disgust ! I really hope you're wrong. I know the media has written that Drogba is furious at the club and the owner but the media has been wrong before. And he might calm down. He must like some things about the team and the players so hopefully that will make him stay. And who knows before the transfer window opens again we might have a new manager (heard Lippi have been contacted and that he would like to take over) and perhaps that manager can make Drogba stay. So let's not cross the bridge before the hole in the ground has been flooded (or whatever the saying is)...
Iceman
Drogba may well drag out his injury until Christmas so that he is not cup-tied for the Champions league if he does leave,

BlueBeard
He told The Sun: "I am not considering quitting Chelsea, I have a contract which I will follow through. I feel other players will feel the same way too."I will decide on my next step of action when the time is right and I get an offer. "As footballers, we obey our contract ( ) and concentrate on building our career." Somehow I don't think that necessarily means he, or any of the other players, will be staying indefinitely - after all, we all know how seriously player contracts are taken

Pauly
Chelsea's Michael Ballack hopes to be back in full training with weeks. Ballack, 31, has been struggling to regain full fitness after undergoing two operations on his damaged ankle. But Ballack said: "It's getting better, I keep going with my rehab programme, I can train outside and I am quite happy now with the way we work. "I work very hard and I hope that I can come back soon," he told Chelsea TV. Ballack has been running in a sandpit to try to hasten his recovery rate but admits it is tough going. He added: "It is very hard for the condition but it is good for the foot so it is part of my programme now. "It is much better; I had to wait a long time to be at this level now, so I am happy. I hope in a few weeks I will be back on the pitch, I can train with the team and also be playing." ps. that sounds like an "i'll play out my contract" from drogba. The Moos
That page doesn't seem to know what it's talking about. Drogba are fit for the game against Fulham and Lampard is back very soon too. The same goes for Riccy. That sounds much better than 20th october
Lofty
Latest I heard is that Drogba is in the squad against Fulham, which doesn't mean he'll be starting, or that he's fit enough to play the whole game.

ethicalstrategy
Injury Update It appears that Frank will be back fairly soon - if he misses Bolton and the International break then he will be in good shape. Seems JT's injury is not as bad as it sounds. SWP and Essien will probably also be out until after the internationals. No mention of Riccy
