It's been a long time since I could say this, but it has to be Lampard. His passing was incredible today

I think our left side worked very well, i vote Bridge even though he wasnt envolved alot he did everything right and had an important tackle in the box early in the game.

Lampard looked very good took alot of runs, the deffence was good apart from Alex that one time, Mikel looked good when he came in.

It was a good team performance.

I picked Bridgey. He was out for so long ,came back and didn't have a mistake all match, looked very solid throughout.

Hard to pick one player, it was great team effort. The only man i'm not 100% satisfied with is Alex, he looked nervy in several moments and was very lucky not to be sent off at the very end.

Drogba - scored a great goal, came close a couple of times, and should have been given a penalty.

I vote drogba, had some really nice touches and flicks...setup that first goal with Lampards pass...scored a goal...and should have gotten a penalty. Lamps a close second.

Don't think anyone really stood out again. OK performance but against a side who had a fair number missing. I know Cech didn't have loads to do but I just love the fact he's there and always looks so commanding.

I didn't vote for Joe by the way. A game he will want to forget. Looked totally shagged after 75 minutes.

Malouda for me. The only source of attack for us today.

Yeah i agree that left side with Bridge and Malouda worked great, i just hope Bridge becomes a starter even when Cole comes back.

Close call between Malouda, Lampard and Didier for me, Eventually plumped for Malouda who I thought was involved in most of what we did well tonight (from an attacking perspective at least) but only a midgie's ball hair in it as I thought Didier and Lampard were both excellent as well.

Has to be Lampard for me his passing and work rate was great, getting back and forward at all times, intercepting passes here and there was great to watch.

Drogba agin for me, hes such a handful and was all over the place, Lampard was more like his old self, Carvalho was superb.

only down side for me was Alex looked a bit clumsy and Essien still needs to recover his best form.

decent enough performance although only good in patches some of the passing was quite crisp.

lampard was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch- passed EXCELLENTLY, pressed well. drogba, riccy and bridge all did well also.

it would be a travesty of epic proportions if he doesn't get this. his best passing game for months and months and months.

you forgot to put the ref on the list, the way he was tonight was totally out of order, talk about a home ref, makes me sick icon_twisted.gif but dont worry i dont blame you, i blame the ref and the poor display by schalke icon_mad.gif

Has to go to Sheva didn't put a foot wrong, four minutes - didn't touch the ball.

Hard to pick everyone was about average expect JC who was crap - I'll go for Drogba for his goal celebration.

PS the ref was Moos' neighbour

Even when Just is on holiday the boy gets his vote in icon_wink.gif

Hold your horses Loz it could have been me that voted for Joe, but it wasn't this time. Not one of Joey's best game, but I thought the whole midfield where very average. Essien just couldn't get into the game, Lamps was just about the pick of the midfield but didn't open up his body up enough and switch the play, I thought his game was very pridictable

MOTM for me was Petr C his positioning was spot on and great handling, but voting for him shows how pedestrian the rest where

Amazing how 2 people can view a performance form a player quite differently.

Although his performance wasn't bad he does have a habit of moving the play in one direction all the time, rather then switching, dare I say it like a scholes or fabregas.
