Can I vote for my dad for rescueing me from my balcony, having locked myself out?

You're not voting Carlo today? Oh and why isn't Sheva on the list? It doesn't matter he wasn't playing - his mum won't be at all happy.

Did a great job on the bench though.

Cheers for doing that ethical - home a tad earlier then I expected. Listened to the game on the radio in the car on the drive home so not going to vote until I have seen the 38 seconds of extensive highlights on MOTD however from listening to it it sounded as if JT had a great game (and I am not referring to the goal) and Lampard played well for the first hour. Also Carlo pulled off some fine saves.

I don't think anyone really stood out. Carlo wasn't bad from memory. I guess Ferreira and Ashley Cole were solid enough too.

On a general note about the game, I was a little concerned about our inability to kill off the game. This is something we did very well under Mourinho but today we didn't seem to able to just close off the match like we should have.

Apparently that was only after he locked Valerie out on the balcony.

When you say, Kill off the game, that means in my book that we score a second goal, but that rarely happened under JM's reign. We would win 1-0, 1-0, etc.

Soooo, I am not sure what you mean, Qaz.

I thought Kalou looked lively, in fact he has since returning from the ANC's.

The other Africans look garbage. I mean what the hell was Drogba up to today. J.O. Mikel once again seems to think that a tackle constitues a choice between a lunge or shoulder-barge! 300.gif

Cudi was good also, plus Alex who was very commanding in the air.

In this case, by kill off a game I mean tighten up the defence, put a foot on the ball and stop the opposition putting us under any pressure. In other words, close up the game.

How Carlo has got so many votes is beyond me, sitting on the bench over the years has affected his judgement and on a couple of occassions JT had to make some desperate clearances because Carlo never came for the ball when JT was expecting him to do so. Got the feeling the back line were unsure of him all afternoon. Hope Cech is fit for Spuds on Wednesday

I thought Mikel was relatively poor, although as ever sure and strong on the ball. Just didn't use it as well as Maka does or win it well either.

Drogba's touch, always touchy, was a bit off. These are the things you hope managment will work on.

Essien, for the brief time he was on the pitch, looked up for it.
