Proof Mcclaren Is An Utter Idiot

Featured Replies

seems to have both gained a comedy "dutch accent" and also is losing the ability to speak english.

is he taking the piss or plainly completely mad?

your problem now val, your problem.

Fantastic post G4, and really couldn't believe it either :D Pure comedy!

He's actually even trying to find what to say, and making the noises of a foreign manager trying to speak english, though Mclaren is speaking English! Quality!

Its like he is imitating Christopher Walken playing Wenger if he were imitating a Rhodesian land owner.

Unbelievable

P.S. nice one Loz. "This is the year" :scouser:

I bet he'll go on now to have a really good season with them :scouser:

Lovely :PiANo:

Very sweet of him to use simple English. Now if he can learn how to pronounce the name of his club properly, us Dutch will embrace him :scouser:

I think he's trying too hard to speak simple English to make sure the journalist understands him. Makes him sound a bit daft.

He is doing what a lot of the English who live here do - they don't speak French, but they think if they speak English with a Frenchified accent, raise their voice at the end of a sentence (like the Australians do) and say "Yes?" every now and then, that French people will understand them. They do it with the best of intentions, but it does make them sound like plonkers.

i was in france on holiday 2 years ago and half way through had remembered enough frnch to ask for things, ask directions and hold the minimum of conversations. we went to a cafe for lunch and i ordered. everything was going well, i ordered everything perfectly and got a compliment from the waitress. then i screwed it right up by saying "gracias" as she left. all my mates and the waitress were pissing themselves laughing. gits.

So you're multilingual? A polyglot! Your mates probably envied you. The waitress probably fancied you.

He's really going to endear himself with the fans..................not, if he continues to dismiss his teams chances like that. He lost the match before it was played!

Fair do's FC Twente are not a great European name but to qualify for the Champions League is not mean feat. I'll watch with interest how he will cock it up in Holland.
