Roberto Mancini is a very likely appointment given his expressed desire to coach in England and his success at Inter however I just wonder whether Spurs may be concerned that he has no track record of managing a club in crisis. They might feel they need someone who has proven they can install a little backbone in a side and Mancini's record at Fiorentina was not impressive.

The key to saving Spurs from the drop is going to be how well he gets Zokora playing and trying to keep King fit. FIngers crossed he fails on both counts.

I have never had that warm fluffy feeling about Redknapp that other people seem to have - always thought he was a bit of a whiner, now that he is at Spurs it makes it easier to want him to fail.
