For all the good times we're having, There have been some low points under Guardiola which had me questioning whether he was actually what it said on the tin, The first season was atrocious, The year Liverpool won the league was atrocious, The constant getting knocked out in QF's in the CL were awful but you keep the faith and eventually an elite manager will come through. If Tuchel is an elite manager in the eyes of the Chelsea board, You HAVE to weather this storm and I think Tuchel is an elite manager.

My fears regarding the game were true but your point on Arsenal being bottlers held up well. At half time, I would have bit your arm off for a draw, For them to unravel like that was hilarious, We barely put any pressure on them, One moment of Xhaka madness and the whole stadium goes nuts. I'm going to put the first half down to it being one of those games although if we play like that in a CL away game at say the Allianz, Anfield or Stamford Bridge, We could be 3 down heading into the 2nd leg.

Haha, As a City fan of a certain age, I will never forget rooting for Keegan's Newcastle side and thinking they wrapped up the league title when they had a 12 point lead over United in 1995, Only for them to bottle it, That forever lives with me. Also the year of the Agueroooo goal, United had a 7/8 point lead with 5 games to go and we still pipped them. Here's something that might cheer you Chelsea fans up, Every time a PL side has blown a 6+ point lead at the top, The teams chasing were elite, Remember when Liverpool had a 10 point lead on us a few years ago and we tracked them down? Both Chelsea and Liverpool of this year are elite, No matter how bad the current form is, One is current European champion, Other is 2nd favorite for this years CL. Klopp and Tuchel don't strike me as white flag wavers.

We have Arsenal away and then Chelsea at home in back to back league games, That Arsenal away game worries me because unless we drop points tonight which I don't think we will, We will go into that game too complacent. Arsenal away has become so easy for us in recent years that If our concentration drops off 10 % I can see us suffering a setback this year. Arsenal are in superb form and they need a 'big game' win to prove they aren't like all the other Arsenal sides of recent years who bottle big games. If we get beat there and you lot beat Brighton/Liverpool, If your squad has the character which I think they have, You'll rock up at the Etihad and do us which would blow the title race wide open again.
