Arsenal vs Chelsea (PL) Sunday 6th September 16:30 GMT
I think it's too early for us to be playing them, we're going to struggle defensively. Hoping for the best though, maybe given Arsenal's reliance on set pieces and mistakes that an "just outscore them" approach will work.

Don’t mind the radioactive green every now and again, at least it’s something different!

Leicester continue their downward progress. Up for sale, mired in debt, the appointment of Russell Martin as manager typical of the suicidal approach. 0-4 to Oxford United yesterday, caught playing out from the back, Martin's one and only strategy regardless of personnel. He has won 4 of his last 30 league games as a manager, conceding 61 goals, scoring 24. Who would be a supporter?

The EFL will be onto it.

Hall doesn't have a defender's natural instincts much as when at Chelsea. A converted, frustrated would-be midfielder. Lost his man yesterday, finished up stranded in no man's land.

Anybody seen this? The kid in the crowd held onto the ball for about one second and then threw it away. Bielek then grabbed the kids throat and then the kid slapped him. All I am seeing from people in the game is defence for the player. Has everybody gone mad? he grabbed the kids throat, all because the kid held on to the ball for a second and threw it to the side. The Cardiff manager sided with his player, Portsmouth put out a statement protecting the player. The fan was removed and will probably be banned for life, and for what? holding the ball for a second and retaliating in self defence after a player grabbed his throat!

I think Hall's performances have been really overhyped. So many errors defensively, and most of his crosses are failing to beat the first man.

David Speedie attempts to control the ball against Arsenal at a frozen Bridge in January 1985. He scored our equaliser in a 1-1 draw.

This is the first big test for Alonsos team. Im looking forward to it. I doubt we would have expected to be facing the league champions with such an exciting team a few months back. I wonder if we can outscore them today? Hoping Palmer Rodgers Pedro can strike gold. Doubt we will get many clear cut chances but we need to take them, for sure. Im hoping for a good solid (if unexpected) performance from our midfield and defence.🤞 Come on you Chels!

Anybody got a second team you support not in a top division?
Huddersfield Town only managed a 1-1 draw at home to Notts County but sit 2nd in League 1 still unbeaten after 5 games. Newly promoted Folkestone to the National League South lost for the first time this season away to Torquay 3-2 in an exciting game which saw them fight back from 0-2 to 2-2 only to lose 3-2. Still sitting 5th with a game in hand.

St Etienne still have a 100% record in Ligue Two. They beat Dijon 3-2 away last Monday. And beat Montpellier 3-1 at home yesterday. Top of Ligue Two. 15 points from their first five games!

A mixed bag of results for Carlisle Utd over the last week or so. Carlisle drew 1-1 away at Wealdstone last Friday. They then beat Sc**thorpe 4-2 at home on Monday. They lost 2-1 away to Boreham Wood yesterday. Now in 14th place in the National League.

I actually like Truffert at Bournemouth. I think he'd fit our system well.- Arsenal vs Chelsea (PL) Sunday 6th September 16:30 GMT

Maatsen is a decent enough player, but probably the best left-back in the EPL at the moment is Lewis Hall. - Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27
