Not for this sort of crime anyway, red cards for late tackles etc yeah I can understand but this is assault, not a football related suspension. I'd even go as far to say eye gouging is worse than biting, as dkw said it could blind someone.

Perhaps when Kompany came off they were void of their true leader. When we lost (stupidly on his part) our captain in 2012 we had Lamps, Cech, Ash, Dids to name a few to step into that role. Feel a bit for those City fans who travelled, they're the ones who made the effort today, their players let them down.

Muppet either didn't know he was suspended (in which case why did he write it or the editor okay publishing it?!) or just wanted to sh*t stir. I suspect the latter, anything to unsettle players regardless of which clue they play for.

I don't think I've watched a game on Sky with the sound on for about 6 or so years, maybe more. There really should be an option to listen to crowd noises only. Such a shame but when the people commentating are uneducated and make sly digs it gets frustrating. I'd rather just enjoy watching the football.

What even were their tactics though? They were near enough cruising at half time.
