Posted May 4, 20168 yr Apologies if mentioned elsewhere. Mods, please delete if necessary. Shirt for season 2016-2017. What do people think? I think it's good. Doubt if I'll buy it though - only because I've run out of space at home for club shirts. http://www.chelseamegastore.com/stores/chelsea/en/products/kitselector/chelsea-home-kit-2016-17/204?portal=AWE3CKEC&CMP=SOC-AWE3CKEC&kitlaunch http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2016/05/new-kit-revealed.html Edited May 4, 20168 yr by Boyne
May 4, 20168 yr Saw this leaked on twitter a few weeks back. I like the design, reminds of the 2013/14 home shirt with the white V neck. Classy.
May 4, 20168 yr Like it, my favourite home shirt since the centenary one (and probably for a number of years before) I'll be buying it for my kids.
May 4, 20168 yr So it's the same as last year's, apart from that it now has a v neck? Well that and the faded emblem design over the shirt. It's not too different but still nice. Last home top I bought was the white collar adidas Samsung one (when Barca screwed us). Not sure if I will get this one or not.
May 4, 20168 yr I'm meh on the Tyres bit, but really like the lions in the background. Those lions make it a bit too "busy" for my taste. Otherwise it has a same old, same old feel.
May 4, 20168 yr I like it, the price is a disgrace though, we're charging £55-£90 for this shirt, may as well spit in the fans faces. I'm a shirt collector though, have some cfc shirts that are worth near £200, so I may add this to my collection.
May 4, 20168 yr Wish the Tyres was taken out of the sponsor. I think its been confirmed Tyres will be taken off next season. This may be the shirt we wear against Leicester
May 4, 20168 yr Our traditional royal blue is probably the classiest colour for a kit. I am not be biased, I just think other blues look washed out or cheap.
May 4, 20168 yr Those lions ruin the kit, makes it look like pajamas. Not complaining though, seems like every time we have a weird kit we end up winning something big.
May 4, 20168 yr Those lions make it a bit too "busy" for my taste. Otherwise it has a same old, same old feel. Yeah, not a fan of that either. One big lion underneath the sponsor would have been enough.
May 4, 20168 yr Away and third colours will be black and white, nothing changes, would love to know when we decided that yellow would be discarded for most seasons, as I always looked at it as our second colour.
May 4, 20168 yr would love to know when we decided that yellow would be discarded for most seasons, as I always looked at it as our second colour.Agreed, this was my first football kit So I'll always have fond memories of the yellow.
May 4, 20168 yr I loved our yellow kits. Whenever I see the Coors yellow kit I instantly think of Luca Vialli.
May 4, 20168 yr Come to think of it he should be advertising coors light and not van damme. Lol he would've probably twatted van damme too. Hes a fit old boy is Luca.

May 4, 20168 yr it's okayish i guess. it would be better if those lions are smaller and more transparent, and none of them on the sleeves
May 4, 20168 yr Agreed, this was my first football kit So I'll always have fond memories of the yellow. That was my first shirt too, bought it in Greece in a market, wrong kit number though. Edited May 4, 20168 yr by Floyd25
May 4, 20168 yr No Adidas stripes on the shoulders is a welcome change, didn't like the lions at first but they're growing on me. No 'tyres' on the sponsor and it's a winner (though it needed the 360° view to convince me otherwise). One of the few shirts I may buy (though don't ask why but I never wear them, just frame and hang up on the wall)
