  1. Tony Cascarino - Chelsea looked "a bit more this a bit more that..." A bit? A bit? Head and shoulders you mean!
  2. Another offside decision that was wrong!
  3. I can't believe the difference in quality - even when we lose the ball, it just seems easy to get it back. And now, we seem to be just playing at 3/4 effort.and i seems to be more than enough to contain them,
  4. I've just done the predictor thingy on the BBC website. Just rattled through it and put down reasonable-sounding scores for all the remaining games, without thinking much and without wishful thinking (i.e no 10-0 or anything). And at the end it came out, Arsenal third, Us fourth, Spurs fifth - all on 70 points. BUT then I realised we and Spuds had only played 37 - the BBC hadn't included the rearranged match. So if we drew that, we'd both be above Arsenal, if someone won they would be third and the losers fourth. I know it means nothing but as General says "fingers crossed".
  5. Just finished watching on +1 and haven't read all the thread but just to say my regard for City has gone down alot. Cynical challenges and the two footed jump on Luiz - nasty. Don't often get to see the whole game rather than just highlights and I enjoyed watching us play - Hazard was great and I thought Luiz had a good game. But meh, a win is Chelsea's, a loss is Benitez's. Can't get as bothered while he's in charge. It can go out on loan for now and we'll have it back next season when someone else is in charge.
  6. ITV "City, like Chelsea have dominated the FA cup"???????? They've won it once recently! Hardly compares does it?
  7. I'm going to be watching an hour behind as my son is working til 5 and I said I'd be patient and watch it with him. But wish I hadn't now! Want it to start NOW!
  8. If it was as straightforward as that the answer would definitely be lose. But it's not.
  9. Oh bloody hell, all these permutations! As long as RB is replaced I'm almost past caring! Jose would be perfect but anyone but Benitez!
  10. Yeah - I know, It would be nice to play in blue but it would be even nicer if our 'away' goals counted double!
  11. Maksimov - sorry can't do quotes on this computter - but if we're the away team it would make sense! (Just being silly, wondering why it would matter who's home or away team at neutral ground)
  12. Maybe if we get through to the final and it's a score draw at the end of 90, we win on away goals?
  13. Sorry, just can't agree - 19 May last year didn't suck
  14. Once again Chelsea the last British team standing in Europe!
  15. 404 error message when I click the link Ah it worked the second time - has been posed in the Mourinho watch thread already - but a great story
  16. Zola - Basically, a Mexican guy living in California took 2 weeks leave every year to work for free at Real Madrid's training ground when they visited the states. Had always wanted to come to Europe to see El Classico. His family persuaded him to do it on the spur of the moment without booking as it might be Jose's last one. He turned up in Madrid the day before. Jose saw him outside training ground, recognised him, gave him his hotel room got him ticket and said he could come to Manchester for game against Man U as extra kit man. Had dinner with him, he travelled with team and went on pitch as one of staff. Met Fergie, Mourinho arranged for Hernandez to give him shirt. Good time had by all. (may have left some details out) Mourinho is wonderful QED
  17. Love the shower emoticon! Not seen that one before! And of course I too admire his brain, his tactical awareness, his management skills, his skill with the media, his motivational skills, his work ethic, his confidence, his outspokeness, his arrogance (at least he's got something to be arrogant about), his overcoat, his humour, his smile, the twinkle in his eye, his accent, his sexiness, his allround gorgeousness ...... excuse me, I think I need that shower now!
  18. I can just about bear him not coming back as long as it's not confirmed until after the interim goes. The thought of Jose returning helps to counter-balance (to a certan extent) the knowledge of Benitez being here. I will be so happy when he goes I think I will be skipping along..... but if Jose comes, I'll be simply unbearably happy to all around me! And it's not just for footballing reasons .......(is it Moi?).
  19. I wondered who it was. For most of the half he definitely favoured Sunderland but just once when they got the ball in a good shooting position, he said "oh no" as though he didn't want them to score. Must say I try to mentally tune out for most commentary. It's what it deserves.
