exactly. This is the best formation considering the players available. Essien wuld stay back allowing lampard and ballack to move forward. SWP shuld warm the bench until he learns how to cross. what chelsea need at the moment is lampard returning from injury. his absence has made me realize how important he is to chelsea. even after spending millions on strikers we have to rely on lampard usually to get us goals.

the real problem lies in the fact that malouda cannot dribble the way robben or any other decent winger can.
