Be optimistic if you want, but don't tell other fans how to feel. I'm not optimistic based on what I've seen recently, so stfu.

Decent result, but considering how awful they are, we should have won. Had it not been for De Gea's mistake, we might have even lost!. Top 4 is still a toss-up. I have no hope for the games against Watford and Leicester. Can see draws at best. I hope Bournemouth can beat Spurs for us and Arsenal drop more points, because we're hopeless!

Despite their horrible form, I still have no hope for our match against them. We will find a way to f**k it up.

I knew we were going to bottle it. Just knew it. SIGH!!

Would be so typical of us to bottle it tomorrow after this set of results. Hope I'm wrong though

Chelsea vs Slavia Prague (EL) Thurs 18th Apr 20:00 GMT
We can praise the manager for that and still criticize him for the horrendous second half. This has been a recurring theme, where we frequently just fall apart in the second half. It's totally unacceptable

Higuain is turning out to be another waste of money. This is why we need a proper director of football. So much wasted money for so little

What a wasted opportunity. Great opportunity to put ourselves in the driving seat for top 4 and we bottled it.

Two Transfer Window Ban?
This is going to set us back considerably. If Real are really interested in Hazard, he will be gone. CHO too may be gone. Sarri doesn't seem to trust the youth and a good number of the first teamers are on the wrong side of 30, so will be in a dire situation. We are already struggling as it is, and this makes it even harder. This ban has been coming. The whole loan-army thing has been a shady practice and we will finally pay the price for it.
-
Sarri - In or Out?
I don't know if he should be sacked or not, but if he continues being stubborn with his one "style", he will earn his sacking sooner or later. It's all well and good to be stubborn if your style yields results, but for someone who has won nothing in his managerial career, it's a bit arrogant to not at least explore different ideas. If we were losing games 4-2 or something of the sort, it would be understandable. Losing 6-0 to City and worse, 4-0 to Bournemouth and struggling to score goals when playing a supposedly "exciting style" is totally unacceptable

Two Transfer Window Ban?
So after all the previous incidents we didn't learn our lesson? It's quite staggering if this turns out to be true. What kind of management does the club have? Some of the players involved aren't even worth the trouble. I've always been skeptical of the whole loan army thing. We rarely give them chances in the first team, and I'm doubtful they bring in enough money to justify the trouble.

But he hardly touched Hazard too. I don't think it was a penalty. Many times it seems Hazard is more interested in winning a foul than maintaining possession.

Sarri's stubborness in sticking with his one way of playing will cost us dearly and maybe eventually his job. Jorginho has become almost useless. If he is indeed tired as Sarri claims, why not rest him and try something else in midfield? I dunno, maybe 4231 or some form of it with Kante in defensive midfield? We have cover in defence, so maybe try Luiz in midfield? He has the eye for a pass, and I doubt he would do worse than Jorginho. I watched only the first half and realized we would get nothing from the game and decided to switch it off.

Sarri, like most top managers, is very stubborn, but if he doesn't ditch this his false 9 thing it will cost us and may cause Hazard to leave.

The number of times we lose the ball under little pressure is absurd

Alvaro Morata
People can sympathize with him for being miserable, but that does not excuse his sh*tty behavior. Storming down the tunnel after being substituted disrespects his fellow players, manager and fans. He should at least try to be humble when he's so sh*t.
-
Alvaro Morata
His attitude stinks. He barely plays well and yet sulks when he's subbed. We should get rid asap.
-
Callum Hudson-Odoi
I don't blame him if he wants to leave. He has seen numerous examples to know that he may never get a fair crack at a starting spot. We are clueless at integrating youth and end up spending huge sums of money on dross to fill the squad. If it's really true Bayern are trying to buy him, we have to ask ourselves why Bayern think he is good enough for them but not for us, and yet here we are buying Pulisic who doesn't seem to be good enough to start for Dortmund.
-
Christian Pulisic - Official
Nobody is asking for the club to get every single transfer right. It would be great if we could get even 50% right. I don't have stats, and maybe it subjective, but most of our signings since the summer we bought Fabregas and Costa have been flops. I can count Morata, Giroud, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Emerson and Zappacosta just off the top of my head. We are spending big money without improving the team, and I don't see how buying a 20 year old bench player is going to change that. If we're buying youth players, why don't we play our own youth? We seem to be on the verge of losing CHO because of lack of game time, and yet we're going out to buy another youth player (if that's what people want to call him)?

I doubt berating the officials works. If anything, it antagonizes them to give more decisions against us. The only hope is VAR
-
Christian Pulisic - Official
He has scored only 15 goals in 115 Bundesliga appearances. One of our main problems is that our forwards don't score enough. I hope we're not just adding to the same problem. People can argue he is young and all that, but the club is paying 58million. It would be great if our scouts (if we have any) could uncover talents once in a while instead of always going for hyped players. I hope the club know what they're doing, but I'm not very convinced.
-
Will we sign a striker?
We should, but doubt we will. I still can't believe we helped Arsenal sign Aubameyang by loaning Michy to Dortmund that summer (or wast it Winter?). Now the market is very dry and unless the scouts unearth some hidden talent somewhere, it would be hard to get a good striker
-
Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Agreed. Why can't he just say something like "Nothing has changed with my situation"? Constantly fawning over Real Madrid is getting really tiresome.

Chelsea v Man City (PL) Sat 8th Dec 17:30 UK
I was really nervous going into this game. I thought we were going to lose and drop out of the top 4. We rode our luck in the first half, but the second half was phenomenal and deserved more goals. Top 4 is still going to be a tough fight, but this should be a good confidence booster.
