I've certainly noticed this too, mixed feelings tbh - always glad to see another Chelsea fan, but it won't help with regards to ticket pricing and availability...

Newcastle paid £7m for him, wouldn't surprise me if we had to pay 3x that for him. Great player, no doubt, but it's disappointing that we often go for players when they're expensive after they've proven themselves. Although hopefully Marin will turn out to be a gem. To echo what someone said above, if we could somehow get Ben Arfa, Adam Johnson and Modric for the price of Hulk, well... it'd be a no brainer, but I'm sceptical to be honest.

It's quite depressing to see all of you lot talk about replacing Ivanovic, there is absolutely nothing confirmed that he'd be interested in leaving Chelsea, and you're all talking about replacements? I don't care what Real Madrid offer, I really hope we hold onto him.

We don't need Fellani at the moment because we have Essien and Lampard. One of those is nearing the end of his career, and the other hasn't been the same since an injury I think Fellani would be a great signing tbh

I don't know about the first chance, the commentators said his touch was heavy but IMO if he hadn't done that he would never had been able to speed away from the defender like he did. He was up against one of the best goalkeepers in the world, is it really unthinkable that it was down to good goalkeeping rather than bad forward play? The second chance was a great bit of quick thinking (playing the ball forward would've meant he had 3 players onto him, dragging it back and going for the chip was probably his best chance of scoring) and had it dipped slightly at the end everyone would've been saying what an amazing goal it was, showing his confidence is back etc etc etc, on hindsight he probably should've passed to Navas but I don't blame him for having a go. Very fine margins for him being a hero, rather than being absolutely slated like he has been today.

Agreed about Neville - hated him as a player, hate him as a person, hate his voice, but as a pundit... he's actually really f**king good - knowledgeable, passionate, impartial
