Agreed, people saying we can do better clearly didn't watch Wigan play much last season - this guy was absolutely incredible for them, I genuinely think he's the closest I've seen to a Drogba replacement (he's very quick, very strong, and very technically gifted - it's rare you get all three but he really has it all) and the fact he seems to play so well on the wing, as well as the lone striker if necessary, shows how versatile he is. Honestly, this would be an incredible signing, especially if we can get him for just over the £10m we've allegedly bid.

Yup, it's far better to blame players (there were a lot more than just Frank/Ash) who have absolutely worked their f**king socks off for the club, than it is the manager who single handedly destroyed the dressing room.

No, because then we'd be Arsenal (I do agree with the vast majority of your post btw, we need to keep wages down not only for financial reasons, but also due not case unrest in the dressing room or put additional pressure onto players to perform, but a flat cap wouldn't help IMO, every single player needs to be paid according to their own merits and what they offer the team)
