Forget what we might think of Barca, this guy really is incredible, and we are so lucky to have him.

Anyone that loves football loves Messi.

There is no better sight, and never will be, of a guy that can dribble, that can mesmerise defenders and twist them this way and that.

We won't see a player as good as this for 30 years, if ever.

Next time you watch him, remember to enjoy ..

I have to admit, I don't really feel the love or the luck. And there will always be a better player down the line.

Anything else  ?

He really is an incredible player, but he is also a horrible little cheat which seems to be completely ignored because of how good he is.

Great? Hasn't managed to show that against us so far

To be fair he`s been up against some of the greatest full backs the games ever seen.

IMO I think Pele, Cruyff, Best, Maradona & Ronaldinho were all better. He is an outstanding player no doubt, but I just think the others had more to their game. ..Also Chelsea have done a great job on him over the years in keeping him quiet.

Bit harsh mate.

Yes he has had his moments, but considering the type of player he is, he could cheat a lot more and get away with it.

Besides, I blame his teammates ..

When all's said and done, I can't see anybody but Pele being considered a superior player. Of course, it's inevitable that someone better will come along, as they always do.

He's a joy to watch. Despite his reputation, he generally tries to stay on his feet despite constantly being hacked by the likes of Pepe. Plus he's living proof that you don't have to be 6ft and 14st to succeed in the modern game.

Such an awesome player, so technically gifted it's unreal. The fact he hasn't scored against Chelsea yet just makes me like him even more, long may it continue! ;)

Can you imagine how hard he must have trained to be as good as he is today? Still hasn't even reached his peak ... Absolutely mind-boggling. Added to him being Barcelona's greatest ever goal-scorer at 24!

'That' goal against Madrid just made me want to cry.

Cracking player and still relatively young.

Amazing he is already Barcelonas all time goal scorer.

Goodness knows how high that will be when he retires/leaves them.

Pele had a better all round game than Messi and Maradona IMO. And because of the era he played in, he took some horrific treatment from defenders.

Messi is a truly stunning player, so far ahead of CR7 he couldn't see him with a pair of binoculars. Don't agree with the "cheat" label at all.

Maybe I was a bit harsh, but it kind of annoys me that his misdemeanours are glossed over because he`s so good, and to be fair he`s cut the handballs and diving out pretty much now.

Still a drugs cheat though

Outrageous player, always a joy to watch. Hard to believe that someone that talented could be such a team player but he is. Far more likeable than the obnoxious Pele and 'difficult' Maradona, so I hope he carries on for a few years and leaves them both in the dirt.

This is the thing and why I just admire the bloke so much. The fact he is far and away the best player in the world bar none would entitle him to act like billy big bollocks and be all smug etc. But he is so unassuming and modest and you can see the guy just loves having a football at his feet.

Anyone calling Messi a cheat is way, way off the mark. He plays the game the right way and all the punishment he get's he is entitled to go down now and again yet very rarely does.

What a f**king player. What a great bloke. I bet he even drives a Kia!!

I know they're only YouTube clips but judging from those he doesn't go down half as much as other players would... Probably saves a few of his fellow professionals getting sent off.
