You do realise De Gea had agreed to go to Madrid with Navas going the other way but there was problems with the paperwork. De Gea only signed a new contract after the transfer deadline window had finished.

I was presuming the whole period he has been at the club. There's a reason he has not been a first team starter and that's because his not good enough. Problem is Matic has been so bad this year anyone would of been an improvement. Kennedy has been an improvement on Hazard. RLC over Oscar, Iva has been that bad I reckon Kane would of played better, least he would of tried.

Personally I did rate Carvalho better as a CB. Gallas was superb anywhere across the back 4 and maybe that played against him in the end. The swap for Cole was a superb deal though.

How can you use the example of PSG hahahahahahaha. That league is worse than the Scottish league lol. Carvalho is one of the greatest defenders ever in the premiership and his partnership with Terry only conceded 15 goals in the prem in there first season together. Luiz wasn't even half the defender Carvalho was.

Because he isn't a very good player, all the Chelsea fans I know think the same, I see it on most forums and ratings for the majority of the games. When a player makes your team weaker then he obviously isn't a good player. The only manager who sees differently is Hiddink. Will Mikel be first choice next season, doubt it. Will he sign a new contract most probably. Chelsea won't want to lose him on a free transfer. Hardly ever see any team linked to Mikel apart from Turkey and China. Be interesting to see if he does leave for first team football and who would take up the opportunity of taking him on a freebie. I would much rather see Ake given a chance than Mikel.

You are right, I ment to mix it up till the end of the season. As long as if Mikel don't play I am happy, but his number one on the team sheet under Hiddink. I don't think Fab can play in a midfield 2 which is another reason to mix it up. The only player who could be good at number 10 is Hazard, Willian has no creativity, Oscar is inconsistent. Gutting thing is Mata is perfect for that role.

Personally I think Fab is much better than Ozil, problem with assists is they counted if you pass someone else and they smash one in from 20 yards. Some of the through balls from Fab last year was top draw. Personally I would give him a go in a midfield 3 with RLC and Matic. Why does Tony Gale get every Chelsea game?
