Chelsea v Norwich (PL) Tues 14th Jul 20:15 GMT
It wasn't a poor performance, it was a professional yet edgy performance. Norwich did bugger all as we had total control of the match.

That is the thing, it is like in previous seasons when teams would double up on Hazard knowing he was our biggest threat on the pitch. I cannot wait when we have Ziyech and Werner in the team to provide multiple threats, so teams can't just target one player. Hopefully we can add Havertz and a few extra players to that list. Willian just frustrates me with his constant slowing down on play to do his little shuffle, then to put in a crap cross or pass it back. Watching us, especially the last few seasons, we have lots of possession but not enough creativity and we need to improve on that. We are far too reliant on playing back/square passes when we need more courage to play forward at times, we are pretty predictable and that's why we get results like Bournemouth and West Ham. At the moment though 3 points each game is a must, so however we get them is all that matters.

Mateo Kovačić
Easily one of our best dribblers at the club, just wish he had an end product at times, Would love to see him score a minimum of 5 goals at least a season, but he isn't great in that department unfortunately.

Of course that's what matters right now, we need to finish in the top 4 no question. That was a professional, but uninspiring display. We needed that after the disappointing result against Sheffield United. We have signed players for next season who will massively improve us and provide more of a goal threat, hopefully more will come to. The CL is a massive part of helping us sign the quality we need.

We should do more of this personally, sometimes we try to play too much possession football, whereas we could draw them in and hit them on the counter with the pace of our team. Having Oli up top allows him to hold it up and play in those one-two passes on the counter.

Super Frank Lampard
I think because we aren't 'killing teams off' as such it gives them the confidence to know they can get back in the game, and then we usually concede or give away a free kick/corner. With Werner and Ziyech, along with a couple of other quality additions, we will be a decent force next season and will alleviate the anxiety we have at the back, which cause the panic and ill decisions. We need to replace Kepa as well with a keeper that is far more commanding in the box, for all of us who have played the game in some manner, having a confident and strong keeper makes the world of difference no matter the level you play at. The fact that Benteke and McGoldrick scored against us says it all really.

Time for Pukki to fill his boots, I'm sure he hasn't scored for a while. I really don't know what to say about our defence, it reminds me very much of 2015-2016 season where we lost so many games because our organisation and desire were so poor. We really need to beat Norwich as Liverpool and Wolves will be tough games.

McGoldrick ffs, how do we let players like that score when they haven't done it all season. I think I'm done with season, I really can't give a sh*t when the players don't even care.

I'm not even going to watch the second half, I don't need the stress of watching that dross. No fight or conviction.

Abraham is the worst choice against this defence, he shouldn't be starting on current form. So frustrating this, knowing full well Sheffield United can just soak up our toothless attacks with a 2 goal cushion.

Following our Nearest & Dearest Rivals 2019/20
United are due a few bad results, they will get complacent. I remember when they had a good run before under OGS and everyone said they were back, then they fell back into the usual average run of form.

Let's take a moment & LOL at the gooners
You'd have been shocked if my reaction was being filmed during the West Ham & Crystal Palace games ?

Remaining PL games
United are due a few bad results, lets not forget OGS had them on a winning streak last season before the wheels came off. Fernandes has been a massive influence on their run of form though.

Tammy nearly went from hero to villain there.

So frustrating that we seem to be the only team that gives perfect opportunities to players who haven't scored in ages, geez.

Welcome Ross Barkley
World class players will still make mistakes, we seem to have this fascination that we are the only team that has it happen but it is because we put our own team under the magnifying glass more. Ross is guilty of making making the wrong decision in moments of play, but then he has gone on to provide the assist or score to correct that.

One off game against Leicester and two moments as a late sub against Watford doesn't suddenly banish him from the team, geez.

Why would Gilmour get over run? I don't understand this criticism when he's been pretty good for most of the games he has been involved in.

If we go with the same XI (bar Kante, if injured) then I think we'll be fine.

Chelsea v Watford (PL) Sat 04th Jul 20:00 GMT
Mount explaining how he had to put more fizz on the ball leading up to the first goal is precisely why he is important in the team. We need quick decisive passing to break down teams looking to set up the low block, long may it continue.

Zouma - If Kurt's Happy, I'm Happy!
I think he will stick with Zouma now at least, he looks far more solid than Rudiger.

Literally only a couple of moments so let's calm down, we still have plenty of players needing match sharpness. Can we stop downplaying the result as well, we were comfortable because we played well enough to make it that way. Watford was easily a potential banana skin with our inconsistency against teams lower in the table. When teams play the low block we need the movement and creativity of goals 1 & 3 last night, rather than passing around the box and back to our half, this showed we easily have the capability. I want teams to fear playing us again, once you have that it gives you a massive edge in games. Pulisic is a machine, that boy still had pace to burn at the end of the game, fantastic player.

They'll easily get one year as a minimum, i can't see it being two years though.

Zouma was a rock, having Azpi as left back was much better than we've seen from Alonso recently.
