robdog Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Remember on this day Chelsea punked the gooners 6-0 - Let's reminiscence Valerie, Jezz and strider6004 3
TJB Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Holy sh*t, hard to believe it was 5 years ago. Another month and it's the 5th anniversary of Demba Ba day. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Jezz, BordeauxBlue, DaRick and 3 others 6

strider6004 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Good find and interesting seeing Salah score the last for us. In a way would have been good for the thread to have started after we got thrashed by City yet never the less a good memory of earlier times, Giroud played for the gunners in this one. Haven't see JM smile that on the bench for a while either. robdog 1

Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Next month on April 6th will mark the 15 year anniversary of that lovely win at Highbury when Wayne Bridge scored a glorious goal with 2 minutes to go Edited March 23, 2019 by robdog strider6004 and TJB 2
robdog Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 (edited) Thank @Jezz I totally forgotten about this thread - after the events of May 29th, we should add some more stuff here Edited June 18, 2019 by robdog Jezz and Valerie 2
robdog Posted July 11, 2019 Author Posted July 11, 2019 This is another bit of comedy gold to add on this thread: 1 hour ago, Soulo said: Arsenal captain Koscielny does not show up for pre-season training, I´m not sure comedy can get better than this. too bad - he had more bad games vs us than good matches. My favorite Kosielny moment with the gooners
Old Shaggy Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 From the Arsenal forum: "Nah...think the 4th spot is there for the taking this season. Chelsea and Manure look a bit of a mess atm." Because they think they're in a good place atm? ?? Scott Harris and Jezz 2
Soulo Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 The 4th spot is there for the taking hahahaha... glad to see the benchmark is set among Arsenal fans as to what qualifies as a success. Jezz and robdog 2

That's rich coming from them, considering this: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jul/15/arsenal-fans-stan-kroenke-investment-vehicle We're a mess but have spent money that them while under a transfer ban. robdog 1

Looks like their fans are about to revolt btw I just realized that Arsenal Fan TV has recently returned - the youtube site shutdown after their Baku failure
Soulo Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 On Wednesday, Arsenal boss Unai Emery said his target would target "very big, very expensive" players in the transfer market. Look out for Arsenal making a £75 million offer for Adebayo Akinfenwa. Peter Crouch is also being offered a chance to make retirement u-turn with a £400,000 per week 5-year contract on the table from the North London side.

robdog Posted September 11, 2019 Author Posted September 11, 2019 Dilly Ding Dilly Dong, is this match Tinkerman's Greatest result vs the dreaded gooners? I know it's my favorite - especially since it was vs the so-called invincibles at Highbury Valerie, DidierDrogbalala, Boyne and 2 others 5
Scott Harris Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Not long after this, Watford equalised ? If you're going to gloat, do it when you're in a comfortable position Mod 1

Slojo Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 The weird thing about Arsenal fans is that they always have this massive sense of superiority and never learn, every year it's the same with them, very similar to Liverpool fans. It's mostly them shouting about how we are going to finish 10th, when we don't even look any worse than they are, aren't we level on points? You got beat 4-1 in a cup final for a trophy that we didn't even need to win, you would think that would shut them up and humble them a bit.
erskblue Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) Cheers Sheffield Utd. 1-0 win v the Arsenal. Just a reminder... Edited October 23, 2019 by erskblue
