He was terrible yesterday offensively couldn’t cross the road if he tried he’s crossed either get blocked or over hit. Defensively nothing to write home about.
Had alonso out in that performance he would have been ripped apart on this forum

Just look at Arsenal, form didn't matter, they were utterly and unbelievably sh*t and won the game. Our players couldn't raise to the occasion, in big games, you have to.

Some games are like that, no matter how sh*t Arsenal or Spurs are, they'll always turn up against one another.

To be fair Val, neither do I. I just find it funny because Kurt Zouma is the last person I would expect watching Cartoons on the plane every week. I just pictued Chilwell and Mason pissing themselves behind him, I thought it was a great bit of fun they were all in on.

Yes but cliche as this is form very often goes out of the window in these games as we found out the hard way on the other side of North London.

Life is good when your favourite players start busting out Dragon ball z  goal celebrations. Very weird feeling being old and young enough to get the reference how times have changed 😂

This really was fantastic, one of the best football I’ve ever seen us play. We just kept it simple and made it look very easy.
I really wish Mount sent a ball through for Werner, that really would have capped off a beautiful team play.

Agree, it's good not to get carried away, as Chelsea fans we all know this better than anyone, we've seen it time and time again. 

But it's silly being overly negative aswell, so far so good, keep it coming. Maintain a balance. Top 4 is still going to be a fight, we've made it easier for ourselves and done the job. 

For me it's Spurs and Liverpool who I perceive as our top 4 threats, Spurs have the easiest set of fixtures atm, Liverpool could bounce back. Leicester and Everton I expect to drop out.

Not Tuchel's fault though imo, I can't blame him for prioritising defence at the minute. Every best attacker we've got has been out of form for months. So I don't think it's Tuchel being negative.

That's a great observation that Imran. 

This season I've seen a great improvement, even the Twitter trolls aren't giving him abuse anymore. 

He made Thiago's life very difficult that game, played in some great balls towards Chilwell and Werner, what he does best though is carry the ball. Still areas he needs to improve on in his attacking play, but overall, great performance. 

Especially when you put into context that our own youth player who cost nothing is out performing the 200-300 million we've spent on attackers.

I think it's cause he was accusing a few lads of bullying, he did a few name drops. 

Getting better and better imo, loved that. 

I noticed in the first half we didn't actually start troubling Liverpool until we got him on the ball. He ran at Tiago and Firminho with full confidence and caused them problems all night. So glad he got the goal, well deserved.

I think we're very underrated when it comes to playing it out from the back. Besides City we are comfortably one of the best sides at doing it, have been for a while.
