Granit Xhaka

Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka stormed down the tunnel after being jeered by home supporters

Arsenal were 2-0 up and then Palace came back to draw 2-2 !:tHumBsBeeR:

even worse scenes outside the emirates

I understand Arsenal fans are frustrated, but they are going a bit overboard. Also, why are they having a go at Aubameyang, isn't he one of their only consistent players?

Another thing, why exactly are Arsenal fans so aggressive with their anger this season? Competing for the top 4 and Europa League is surely their goal this season and they are still involved in both of these, so what is the problem? Okay, their form is patchy right now, but a couple of results go in their favour and they are in 4th place. United are worse than they are right now and United fans aren't anywhere near as bad they are. I don't really know what the fans expect. Do they want to compete for the title again? because they are far away from competing with Liverpool and City.

Arsenal fans are directing their anger at the wrong people, it's the board members they should have a problem with. It's their lack of ambition that has made them the joke of the league for the last 10+ years.

Wa*kers. If they don’t like it they should stop going. They’ve been in the same finishing positions for years now. Why stress. Just accept it for what it is or find another hobby.

I think their fan channel is one of the worst things to happen to their club.

I'm actually really glad ours haven't gotten big.

Well it’s that time again. Arsenal just completed 90 minutes so we get to laugh :laugh2:

Thanks for that insight Bevis. I thought the gooners only had European Nights on Thursday. Didn't realize they played Europa League matches on Wednesday nights.

Neither did I.

6 wins in 25 matches. Can't recall an Arsenal team being this bad for about 40 years.

Arteta is riding the honeymoon wave at the moment but he's only won 3 out of his first 9 matches as their new coach.

He has had four concurrent draws and the following sequence can go either way. I think they will start winning a few yet not enough to catch us.

When Arsenal scored in the 113rd minute.

I just assumed they'd won and gone through. So I switched the tv off.

Just looked at the bbc sport headlines and realised that Olympiakos scored in the 119th min to knock Arsenal out !

Arsenal were left stunned by Olympiakos' late goal ?

How did Aubameyang miss the sitter in the final minute of extra time?

Looks like it's going to be 4 seasons and counting without Champions League football.

And quite amazingly they have only lost 6 as well ... joined second best with City and Wolves, behind of course Liverpool ...

Being Arsenal, I'm sure they'll get up to double figures soon enough ?
