It will probably sound petty but i would argue that Chelsea underachieved last season. Yes we won the league and the league cup, however i thought we could have won more. We should have done far more in the FA cup alone. I also strongly believe we should have made the semi's of the champions league at least. We never would have won it with the squad Barca had, but we should have been challenging. The football we were playing at the start of last season was some of the best Chelsea have played in the premier league. One loss to Spurs and Mou sh*t himself and instead of carrying on forced players like Hazard to track back first and attack second. Would Neymar be told to track back for Barca all the time? I doubt it. The dodgy dealings in January didn't help either.

He's subbed himself off when he's been injured.. You saw against PSG that he tried to play on for about 20 minutes. What is he meant to do, finish that game and put him out for months? The reason he's out for so long at the minute is because he's been playing on an injury for months. He's said many times he will stay and play here next year and he's been at two teams his entire career so harsh to call him a mercenary.

Can't seem to remember anyone being against Costa and he was top calibre player when we signed him. Carroll has been out 566 days through injury since the start of the 13/14 season so i would hardly say his troubles are behind him. If anything they've got worse as between 08/09 - 13/14 he 'only' missed 309 days. He has a goal to game ratio of 0.28, its not exactly amazing. I will give you that he does offer something different than what we currently have but do we really want to be a team that just pumps balls into the box and hope for the best. Look at our corners, we can't even beat the first man. He could probably win the header but will the ball ever get into the box for him to win? That's the issue that Liverpool had with him, he didn't receive the right service when he was playing.

It is his weak foot ability that has always stood out for me. Can't think of many footballers worldwide with that kind of ability other than Santi Cazorla.

I remember being at the game when Lewis made his debut at Pride Park (now the iPro) back in early 2014 in what was a pretty comfortable win over Derby. Although many people, especially Mourinho, stated how talented he is and that he would make the England team one day he never made any more appearances for us that i can remember? After a loan to Sheffield Wednesday and a highly successful loan to MK Dons he has now ended up at Vitesse (shock) and seems to be settling in very well from what i have heard. Surely he deserves a run in the team more than Oscar currently warrants?

If they'd stayed and sat on the bench i agree. My issue is if they had stayed and Mourinho had actually given them a run in the team they could quite easily be the player they are today in our starting 11.

I don't believe he'd ever go to Arsenal personally. I can only see him leaving Chelsea if it is for Barca, Real or possibly Bayern. Hopefully with us for a long time.

Pretty sure runnng at full capacity for hours and hours a day is a bit harder than sitting on your ar*e behind a desk. I'm not saying footballers are over worked, i'm saying they deserve a break like everyone else. Do you book your holidays and sit in a Villa in some foreign country with your laptop out doing work? I highly doubt it. If we all deserve holidays then so do they at the end of the day. But no of course you're right, maybe we shouldn't give the players a break and run them completely in to the ground. That isn't going to affect their morale and fatigue at all. I'm sure they won't be miserable at Chelsea with no breaks from the game.

Or we could stop comparing Hazard to goalscorers because it is pretty evident that isn't what he is. Hazard always has and always will be more of a creator. My point stands that if you take the players you have named and look at their chances created they won't be near Hazard's when he's playing at half his capacity. I can almost guarantee that if Hazard was playing how he was last season you would be saying how much you love him and how amazing he is. Funny how people forget things so easily when it comes to football. Messi just went on the biggest goal drought of his career does that mean he's washed up now? Neymar's form has dropped massively since Christmas, is he done for and worse than Mahrez now?

They get paid all year round like most people, however they deserve a holiday. Most 'normal people' get weekends off as well as 25(?) days holiday a year. Footballers don't. I think footballers are entitled to a break come summer to do as they please personally.

Kalas struggles to be a first teamer for Middlesborough so will fetch no where near 9mil. 4mil maybe. Omeruo hasn't been great since his injury lay off so oncemore wouldn't get that much. 2-3 mil. I thought Salah had already agreed a transfer fee to Roma for 11.25mil so almost half what you expected. Van Ginkel more like 8mil. Moses more like 8mil if we're lucky.
