I've always followed my local Ilkeston FC (previously Ilkeston Town). I had a season ticket for Ilkeston Town for 6 years until they liquidated back in 2010. Came back as Ilkeston FC but it isn't quite the same. Go to a few games a season but i can't see myself getting a season ticket again any time soon. Interesting fact: Ilkeston Town (and Ilkeston FC) were managed by Kevin Wilson, the former Chelsea player, for the last 6 years. Great manager and did wonders for the club. Real shame that he's gone to Nuneaton.

Leicester really aren't short of money and could easily offer him 100k a week if need be. With the champions league money as well as all the sponsorships that will be thrown at them Leicester won't need to cash in on anyone unless the player wants to move.

I think this is bang on the money. Utd have a youth academy with products no where near as talented as ours yet LvG has had to rely on them heavily this year and the youngsters have done better than most of the 'expensive' players could. Borthwick-Jackson and Varela have both done well at full back when needed and we have players twice as good in Aina and Dasilva yet we've watched Ivanovic struggle out on the right and spent 20 odd mil on Baba. I'm not surprised players are letting their contracts run down and leaving for first team opportunities. This constant shift in managers means no one gets a look in. If Conte is coming i hope he is given time and players plenty of youth. I'd happily take top 4 and no silverware next season if it meant 1 or 2 youngsters becoming starters for us in the coming years.

Just curious, those who are for us selling Tbo who would you want to replace him?

I'd like to bring up a new argument against Mourinho if a may. Although i liked Mourinho and know he's one of, if not the best mangager in the world, he was never right for us second time round. We needed stability and Mourinho is far too destructive and doesn't look to the future. 3 season manager tops. Now on to what really p*ssed me off this time round was his inability to give players a chance. He sold KdB without giving him a fair chance in the squad. When played he was always shifted out wide much like Mata was. A player like him was never going to take his chance out of position. He sold him and everyone seemed to pleased about the £18m we got for him (£11m profit) for someone who rarely featured. Two years later he's being sold for £55m.. Our main issue at the moment is how sh*te Oscar is, imagine if we had KdB behind the striker. Then look at Lukaku, he hit 17 goals for West Brom in just 35 games when he was still a teenager, yet for some reason Mourinho decided to sign Eto'o and ship Lukaku back out on loan. Yes there will be the argument that Lukaku wanted guaranteed first team action but lets be honest, he could've got it ahead of Torres nd Ba that year. I firmly believe with a top striker that season we could've come close to winning the league and who's to say Lukaku couldn't have been that man. He had a proven goal scoring record in the prem yet once again left on loan. We later sold him for £28m, which is a good bit of business right? Well now he's one of the top scorers in the prem and being linked with moves upwards of £60m to the likes of Bayern and Madrid. Yes, Mourinho won us the league and signed us people like Costa and Fab but in the long term he has hindered this club financially and domestically. I don't blame Mourinho as that is the kind of manager he is and wherever he goes is successful, albeit at the cost of the academy etc. I blame the board for hiring him for a second coming and not foreseeing that, although he is a great manager, he isn't what we needed to achieve our long term goals. I expect a few of you may disagree with me but this is my opinion.

Pretty much did, he was basically the only one showing up after january. Costa was sh*te, Fabregas wasn't creating, defence were leaking silly goals. Like you said, Hazard and Terry won us that title on their own.

Utd have started doing much better this season since they've been playing the youngsters rather than the proven stars

Don't be silly, that would mean the FA agree Chelsea were unfairly treated. God forbid the FA actually do something in our favour for once.

Hazard potentially out for up to a month with a hip injury, but remember guys he's the bad one for taking himself off against PSG after playing through the injury. Unlike Costa who was perfectly fine after taking himself off that no one cared about.

How can you moan about a 'dirty' player that will bang in 20goals/season. If Chelsea went out and signed Suarez in summer (for arguments sake, obviously impossible) would you all be moaning and saying you don't want him? Ron Harris was a dirty player yet he's a Chesea great, nobody cares that he was a hard nut. If people seriously want Costa out they have serious issues. Without Europe we have no chance of attracting another high calibre striker. Lacazette won't leave a champions league side in Dortmund and if he does it certainly won't be for Chelsea. Icardi has been a shadow of himself last year and at the end of the day he's just a poacher, only as good as those feeding him. Lacazette has been sh*te since Fekir has been injured and he can't rely on him anymore. Morata is not prolific,goals in 27 games this year? behave.

The same Barry that went to ground like he'd been shot after following through on a tackle with Costa resulting in Costa getting booked? Kicking him in the back of the legs every time he was turned? Yeah proper saint he was that game.
