Sky should be careful what they wish for?
I hate Gerrard!

team for saturday !
Indeed ballack has injured himself, might be out for 2 to 3 weeks with a, yip you guesed it, a thigh strain! However, according to physioroom, I read that Robben and Boulah are meant to be back this week. Although I doubt they will be comming back to first team play straight away For me it could be that we line up like this ..........................cech diarra........terry.........carvs.....Paulo ......................maka ...essien..............................lamps .......sheva....................kalou .......................drogba Either that, or you resort to the diamond with kalou at its tip behind sheva and drogs Scott

Woody the Woodpecker
nice goal! Back to topic I said No, and I see the vote is split exactly at 50-50, for the reason of his injury proneness (is that a word?) Anyway, I think that he is a great player, and like G4 I don't care about his nationality, but the fact he is English is a plus. However, I do think that he is a bit of a liability, but if he was made aware he was 2nd fiddle to terry and carvs, I would gladly have him warm our bench. But that would be a waste of talent Scott

carefree wherever you may be scousers sold there istory
exactly, and will they give Chelsea any credit for starting these "exciting times?" No way!!! They will bestow that honour on Man U for becoming a franchise and turning football into business Scott

carefree wherever you may be scousers sold there istory
the french! Also funny that the Americans are buying up the "Red" teams in the battle against the Russians. It's the cold war, with the colours flipped, and in football, oh, and there are no nuclear weapons. And instead of an Arms race, we have a title race. But I am sure there is something ironic in there Scott

team for saturday !
mikel is injured too. Expected to be out for a coulpe of weeks with a thigh strain!

JT & rio punk sweep
also gets ashley in another episode too. To me, none of them really go that extra step to making the moment memorable! All this idea of framing the famous is merely an attempt to make the famous more famous, and the host look cool because they are "sound" with the celebs being framed. It is all sycophantic Scott

Sky should be careful what they wish for?
didn't gray one time say that even though there was no contact, the intention to foul was there, so that should be a penalty? I can't remember who it was, but it was a blatant dive, and Gray said "well he went in for a rash challenge, so he has to expect to give away a penalty" Richard keys even asked "even if there is no contact" Gray answered "exactly, because the intent to foul was there!" I think it was either Liverpool or Man U. Also, I can't believe that a lot of Scousers and Mancs think that Gray is a bluenose????

Wayne Bridge out of Spain game
more concerned, especially with as close as this season is, with club level Scott

Carlo v Hilario???
just finnished a bottle of it on saturday night. Quite possibly my favourite. Laphroig is a close call, but it is one of those two. Lagavulin possibly edges it solely because it isn't quite as harsh. however it all depends on what you are in the mood for, but lagavulin will never be rejected when offered to me...infact not many whiskies will (malts that is) Scott

Scott Sinclair, watch it tonght...
gallas was pretty much one footed too. Always ran a nice over lap, had great pace, and then had to cut back to put the corss in, thus losing all the ground he had made up...it was frustrating to see such a great player so blatantly out of position. And credit to Gallas as a player that he still performed great out there Scott

The last thing we need!!
isn't boulah close to being back, I am sure he can play out there if needed. Or else how about Morais or even, if it came to it, Elmer?
-
never say never but ....
unfortunatley ozboy, you are merely stating what a lot of us are thinking/feeling. As you say, even IF we do beat the mancs, I don't know where they will drop another 3 points. And I also, no matter how optimistic I am, can't see us going the rest of the season unblemished Scott

Carlo v Hilario???
yeah but in the same breath I am "bigging up" a malt from Islay, an island who is renowned for trash talking in the same Jumper Knit Off competition. Their total lack of respect almost made me start on Talsiker, but then that comes from Skye!!! Scott btw Glenmorangie is a nice drop. Dalwhinnie isn't a bad one either. Some of the Glenmorangie (the glen of tranquility) that are in different casks offer some subtle differences that are quite refreshing

Beckham signs for LA Galaxy
to Boo him loudly, I trust. honestly though I am reserved as to how much he will promote the MLS, and not just himself
-
Carlo v Hilario???
Highland park is for P*ssies, so terrible relation! Hilario is the equivalent of "house" whisky in comparison to something tough like Laphroig

so then, the team for charlton
cheers for the updates folks. Was up ate last night and I have to work today, couldn't justify the 3 hours of sleep to get up and watch an asian stream of the Blues. Great to hear we won. Sounds like we let them back in in the second half, but should have put them to bed in the first. Glad to see JT is back, glad to see those behind us falter, now if only spurts could do us a favour....might watch that game? Scott

Cop death halts Italian Football indefinitely...
posted in the football forum to maka, but totally shocking!

Carlo v Hilario???
exactly the same feeling for me, but just the other way round
-
so then, the team for charlton
got him on the bench in my squad!
-
only 2 points
Much more importantly which one of those lovely ladies is you? well there is no way i could slip into that little black number, and i think i slept with the other one, so unfortunately neither is me. were you in line behind Rooney, or was he in line behind you?

Rovers at Home- Glory
Cheers mate, we will try our best!

so then, the team for charlton
it is pretty much the one position in our team that we haev suitable back up. Cole out, no big deal, we got bridge. I can't see Essien not playing, so I think he may take the maka role. Mikel has been playing very well, and does a lot better when he is given a start rather than trying to come on as a sub. I see the team being .......................................cech diarra......................terry..........percy........bridge .......................................essien .....................ballack...................lamps .....................................mikel ............................drogs..........sheva Carlo (hilario?) paulo kalou Sweepy Morais

TERRY FIT FOR SAT!!!!!!!
great news, in a post match interview (blackburn) Jose said that he wasn't sure if it would be Charlton or Boro. The sooner the better, just as long as it isn't too soon. I think it is killing JT not being out there. THhe lure of catching manure is like dangling a carrot infront of a donkey's nose

Rovers at Home- Glory
who can forget, and I don't fully buy into the fact that he even had one before coming to us! His first touch can still at times be clumsy, but I am being overly critical here as his finnishing has gottne a lot lot better
