His passing hasn't declined. He's never been the ball-winner. He can still shoot, still take corners, still score penalties. Why has he been benched again? For being slow? Matic is as slow. Sillly. He'd still be getting 20+ assists per season if he was at Barcelona. We don't have their forwards, I accept that, so cut that down to 12 or so for us. He'd probably exceed that if given the amount of game-time he deserves. 
Also, considering he has more accurate passing than literally any player on planet earth, why isn't he plopped into the Pirlo role like in Juventus, the 3-5-2 not so different from our own? His speed is then a non-issue, and he gets to control the tempo..

He's in his 1st season as valued squad member (under Fatty he did alright mainly in Europa league) in a new position and doing alright imo.
It's easy to single out individual players performances on a game by game basis - whether factually or subjectively. But football is a team sport and currently the 1st 11 team is top of the league, long may it last (until May). So him & Alonso maybe 'make shift' wing backs but they're doing the business.
None of us have a crystal ball (except for the Ozzy geezer on here) so why bother speculating re players potential performances next season in such and such a competition ? 
Moses has come in, impressed one of the better of the 10 plus managers of Roman's tenure, earned and kept his place in one of the best title charges in years. Well done perhaps rather than the bloke aint good enough for Chelsea. 
 
 
 
 
 

I fell to the point of begging we sign Crouch since we were playing that hoof-the-ball game constantly. I remember plenty of people calling for us to just use one of our youth strikers, I think it was the now-terrible Feruz.

Before Torres joined he was one of Europes leading forwards. If Hazard wasn't at Chelsea there would be plenty of attacking players I would want to sign for Chelsea including Hazard. Doubt how many realistically they could get.

That restricts things when you consider the Premier League has never been weaker in terms of the quality of players spread amongst the top teams. So it won't really prove anything; we don't have any true world class players here, we have players just under that bracket, and out of those, here are some more consistent (this season only) than Hazard - Kante, Luiz, Sanchez, Mata, Ibrahimovic, and Fabregas when he gets on the pitch too. (Consider too, these players have been better despite 2 or even 3 of them already being past their peak.) Outside of the PL in the same bracket of just under WC, but outperforming Hazard, we have the likes of Griezmann, Neymar, Dybala. Bale is also far superior based on just this season, even with less games. He's had huge direct impact consistently, and not consistently faded in and out.
But I don't know what this point proves. However, that's a bunch of players who play to at least the same standard that Hazard has this season, yet are far less on-off-on-on-on-off-off-on-off-on-off-on with their form. So yeah, that's *not* including the world class players of the world, which Hazard is certainly not a part of (Messi, Suarez, Kroos, Thiago, Lewandowski, Robben.)
We LOVE the guy - but he isn't world class. He is not the player we all thought he had the potential to be, at all. It's like he's fulfilled 65% of that potential we imagined, and yet that may be him at his best. World class? No. The most exciting player we've possibly ever had? Sure.

Because it clearly is a debate, the lad is a fantastic footballer but he goes missing far too often. Consistent players don't have the spells of going missing that he does.
People saying that he makes space etc as a reaction to people saying he didn't have a good game reminds me of the fans who stuck by Torres for so long. It was always someone else's fault.
I and others are not denying he is a fantastic player but he lacks the consistency to be labelled world class IMO.

I did not say KDB was twice the player as Hazard, nor did I say he should've replaced him; that's just 2 of the 10+ things in this & your previous post coming at things I didn't even say lol. I said he's twice the playmaker, which he was, and which he still is. Does that discount that Hazard is twice the winger, twice the goal-getter, twice the special piece of magic? I don't think so. 
When did I say he's 10x better than Oscar? Again, I highlighted him being 10x the better playmaker, not the better player.

I despise all of our orange-weird-off-blueish-black kits from the last 10 years. The yellow one we had ages ago was jarring like marmite but that at least made me happy and inspired some feeling. This new effort we keep rehashing is just tepid and inspires nothing in anyone. It looks like a kit for a Romanian or Russian side.

One performance doesn't not change the fact he deserves such criticism nor does it make his suddenly consistent so no it didn't shut anyone up. People need to read what's actually been said and stop been so reactionary.

My thoughts on the designs are, why the hell do they have to have a new kit every season? I know, i know, it's money. It just seems like such a waste of time, re-doing it every single year. There are only so many designs, before you end up just rehashing old ones again and again, or adding some random bollocks to it to make it more unique.

Regularly hits teens for goals and assists? Wrong. Open play goals: 12/13 = 10, 13/14 = 12, 14/15 = 13, 15/16= 5, 16/17 = 7. The one season he hit teens was fortunate because his 13th goal was a rebound from a penalty.
Has heavily contributed to 3 trophies in 4 years? Wrong. Didn't play in EL final or do anything of note bar his goal against Sparta in the L16. Would have won it without him.
Will likely soon become 4 in 5? If you remove all Hazards goals and assists Chelsea would still be top by 7 points, his only meaningful G/A was his penalty vs West Ham.
What is you're definition for producing the goods when it matters most exactly? Rising to the occasion when your team needs you. Having an impact and being decisive. 
If Eden was at Atleti, Dortmund or Juve I'd be begging for him? No I wouldn't. That would mean he would have to be producing in the big CL games, something he has yet to show he is capable of doing.
P.S I didn't even say Hazard had a shocker, I simply said it's another big away game were he has gone missing.
 

I already said that his attacking partners did exactly zero. Willy was even worst. Same for Costa and he denied us from 2 more points. But everyone miss a penalty, and unlike Hazard, Costa barely have poor game.
I`m sorry but i dont buy this. Hazard is poor from quite some time.
Liverpool players was outrunning him and he was falling down from nothing. Misses some passes and have terrible game. And i expected him to make a impact, but when ?
