xXRuufioXx reacted to GarnachoCheese in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!I agree the spending is completely crazy but i'm kind of past the point caring now. We've needed this rebuild for years and i'd rather us spend too much money on talented players than spend a bunch of £40m's on maybe men. Sadly since the Neymar transfer this is just the norm now.

NO club is an automatic 'top 6', ask Aston Villa or Nottingham Forest (both European Champions at some point), you're not 'top 6' because of the name of your club you're not 'top 6' unless you have a team that is among the best 6 in the country - we don't, we're not even close. I am old enough to remember when we weren't even 'top division' let alone 'top 6', don't believe for a moment that we can't fall further, believe me we certainly can.
We MUST accept this fact or else we are going to get nothing but hurt, we are currently a 'mid-table' club and unless we accept this fact we are not going to be able to move forward.

xXRuufioXx got a reaction from Famous CFC in Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018Why is it, that on this forum, (and many other fans forums), that whenever one of our rivals put 4 or 5 past a team, it's because said team must have been sh*t? Is it really that hard for you guys to give our rivals credit. Basel have a fantastic record against English teams, which just goes to show how good Pools result against them was. Especially at home!
-
xXRuufioXx got a reaction from robdog in Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018Completely disagree with this. Basel and Porto are quality teams. Had they come up against us or United they would probably have got a result. Unfortunately for them they both came up against what are probably two of the best attacking teams left in the competition!

xXRuufioXx got a reaction from DidierDidier in Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UKGot to disagree with you @yorkleyblue. If we can't bring on our best youth prospects when we're 3-0 up against the bottom team in the division then when do they get a game? I think the consensus is that Cahill came on for Chistensen because Christensen was tired after coming back from injury and a few mistakes had started to creep in. However Ampadu has shown more than enough in previous games to be able to come on and do a job against the tired legs of West Brom.

xXRuufioXx got a reaction from doctorblue in Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UKAgain I disagree with you. Yes they're gaining experience by training and travelling with the first team squad. But (and here is the BIG but), they will not improve as footballers by sitting on the bench! And yet nobody has answered why Ampadu was on the bench if he "had no chance of playing"!
Listen, I'm not going to go as hardcore as doctorblue, because I don't want Conte to be sacked. But I do want to see him change things up and experiment with the youth. If he's not going to do this now as he's scared for his job, then what's the point on him being here?

xXRuufioXx reacted to abramovich in Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UKLet's be honest, we played at home against the worst team in the league and until the opener we looked poor. Thank God for Hazard, but we can't bail us out every game. The team's looking very fragile and low on confidence.

xXRuufioXx reacted to The Liquidator in Antonio Conte - Now Officially ManagerSo right now we have a situation were there has been a drastic change in our transfer policy. In order for us to buy we must spend but there's only a certain amount of money we can generate from sales. Conte has been too worried about how much he desires to spend in the market . Losing 7-1 against Bournemouth and Watford back to back is beyond appalling, its unacceptable. He's been too busy casting envious glances at Guardiola and forgot how to coach his team. Besides, him staying now makes no sense as all bridges have been burned and the club is unwilling to give him the finances in the transfer market he craves.
Well news flash. This isn't 2005 anymore. Roman simply cannot compete with what the Manchester clubs have financially.
We need a complete overhaul of our mentality and approach. This club needs a young, enteprising manager that prioritizes attacking football and our youth team that will fit in with our new model of selling to buy. Even if its a risk, its a risk worth taking. I'm just fed up of watching dire, horrid "football" while some of our rivals with supposedly lesser resources play much better than us. We've been subjected to some really negative managers in this Abramovich Era and doesn't have to be like that.
We have a stadium we want to expand. Its counter-intuitive expanding your stadium when you could be looking down the barrel of two champions league-less seasons in 3 years.
It's sad to see when you look across and you see Spurs with Kane, Alli and Dier as established members of the XI while we are still in the stage of a "5 min there" and "injury time here" with our youth team players. All this despite them winning back to back UEFA youth league titles and countless FA cups. Any other club would have capitalized on that opportunity. We by contrast don't know what the f*** we're doing.
So I suggest we go for a Jardim , Tuchel or Nagelsmann. Young managers known for coaching attacking football and bringing in youth. Give the new manager an opportunity to implement an identity and attacking style of play. Till this day we're the only big club without an identity. We just rely on our outstanding individual player (Drogba, Lampard, Hazard) to win us games. Get the new manager in and give him the reigns and let him oversee the Stamford Bridge expansion. Jardim is my 1st choice.
-
xXRuufioXx reacted to coco in Next Chelsea ManagerCome on pal, we all want him to be a success and stay on. But when a manager is obviously not happy you have to start thinking about "what if he goes"?, it's only natural for us fans to talk about it amongst each other. If my Mrs had a face as long as Antonio's, I would wonder what the hell i had done wrong.

Ozil has created the most chances out of any player in Europe's Top 5 Leagues since his debut.
Saying Mika is a ManUtd reject is a silly argument, they sold him to get Sanchez, we could easily say De Bruyne or Salah were Chelsea rejects. Auba has been fantastic in the league and while Laca hasn't been doing so well, you only need to look at his record previously.
Who would you rather have?
Morata and Giroud
or
Auba and Laca

xXRuufioXx reacted to WhiteWall in Riyad MahrezAgreed but you can't have it both ways. You can't have pundits like that tw@t Lawrenson creaming themselves about how Pep Guardiola has developed his squad in his image and created a brand of football that nobody else can compete with when he has spent £460m in 18 months and has four of the five most expensive defenders in the world, having replaced his entire defence from last season.
How can this guy not win everything going with those type of resources at his disposal.
And how the f **k is it that we get accused of not developing youth, buying the league, we ain't got no history, blah blah blah, yet when Guardiola does exactly this, its then total football.
