the Manks won nothing for the last 2 seasons, and what does Fergie do, he regroups brings in some young lads and starts again. This is what we have to learn to do. You cannot say this has been an unsuccessful season, just that we want higher achievements ie CL and to win the PL again. I don't believe in this getting rid of managers if a team doesn't win stuff etc etc. and anyway we have won a huge amount under Jose teams with the most success and continued success stay with their manager long term. what have we to gain by changing managers?

Too right. However, if Everton suddenly got to 3 Euro semis in 4 years and won Back to Back titles and signed 30 million strikers it would happen there as well. Guys, its part of the territory im afraid and something we are all going to have to get used to , and the more success we have, sadly the worse its gonna get. I don't agree with your post about Everton - if they were to win suddenly there would be the same level of 'support'. I think much has to do with us being a London team. (forget the Manks and Scallies here as if we could) but if the Arse or even Spurts had our level of success in the EPL or Europe for approx 3-5 seasons there would be a mass of supporters coming out of the woodwork saying they had always supported them.
