dembabarahman reacted to loz in Christian Pulisic - OfficialAnd Willian knows everyone whilst Pulisic needs to get to know his new team mates and manager, how to use an oyster card, find his way around on the night buses, learn the lyrics to Baggy Trousers and get fit to chase Bakayoko's first touch. -
dembabarahman reacted to Malcolm9 in Sarri - In or Out?It will be interesting to see how he handles Ronaldo, but either way best of luck to him.
I'm disappointed but I can understand the move from both Sarri and the club and if it paves the way for Frank and Jody then so be it.

dembabarahman reacted to Spiller86 in Sarri - In or Out?Best of luck to him. The image of him with his Europa League medal warms the heart. First trophy of many I hope. He wasn't right for us but let's hope we both have success in the future.

Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi are showing Sarri up here. These two deserve to be getting more minutes than they are currently getting. Just get them into the team and let them settle in and become top players. They both have the potential, they just need to be trusted. They are the future of our club and would be a massive shame to lose either of them to another club.

Genuinely just think that this is how he plays the majority of the time. He’s poor, as I mentioned before he has a game or two that are outstanding and then a run of a month or two where he’s either bang average or quite poor.
What i I would say is, he’s a world class free-kick taker (when shooting)

I really hope to see him keeping the LB spot.

dembabarahman reacted to andy in Arjen Robben interviewI remember a period when they both played at full pelt they were unstoppable together..... probably one of the best things I have seen in football. Alas wasn't to last !

dembabarahman got a reaction from dustbin719 in Marcos AlonsoTrue, and one of the issues for me is that all too often Alonso, when receiving the ball, goes inside (or backwards) - crowding out the space for Hazard to cut in to. As such, its so obvious for the opposition to deal with him - they know he very rarely tries to go past a man by the sideline, and so don't need to commit men there defensively - again, clogging up the middle of the pitch.
We need a proper attacking left back with pace and dribbling abilities who can take players on and increase the width of play.

Wtf are you talking about -
dembabarahman reacted to forbzy in Spuds V Chelsea (LC) Tue 8th Jan 20:00 UKYes we lost but this was nothing like the league game where we were totally outplayed.

dembabarahman got a reaction from GarnachoCheese in WillianYep, he's great in a more defensive, counter-attacking team, where he can carry the ball up the pitch on the counter but in a more expansive team looking to win titles he should be a squad player, in my opinion.

dembabarahman reacted to enigma in WillianMost of his seasons at Chelsea have been average. He has never took a game by the scruff of the neck, and he certainly isn't a consistent game changer. The only season that stands out is one where he scored a handful of free kicks to win a couple games. Apart from that he is a player who will be forgotten quite quickly tbh. Pedro is not miles better, but at least he can play in the system and is left footed so can play on RW or LW. I don't see what Willian brings to us, I really don't.
-
dembabarahman reacted to Scott Harris in WillianI don't know how anybody can say Willian is consistent, he's the perfect example of a player that has the ability but doesn't show it enough. Stats aren't everything, but for a winger playing in a team competing for the biggest titles, he should be scoring and assisting more often than he has. He's been here for 5 years, he only has 25 league goals for us, that is an average of 5 league goals a season. This is a poor return for so called top player. This is acceptable at a mid table side, but not a team looking to win league titles.
The best we have seen of Willian was between December and February of last season, but that Willian doesn't turn up enough. He started last season awful and had a bright spark in the middle of it before being mediocre again. Too often Willian will have games where his end product is really poor and his passing is over hit or miss placed. He rightly got praised for that period between December and February, even i was saying that was the best i had seen of Willian with us, but it didn't last and it never does with him.
I would go as far as to say that with or without Willian, we would still have won each of the 4 trophies we have won since he joined, i don't think he has been as important to our success as the likes of Hazard, Costa, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Fabregas, Pedro, Kante and others over the last 5 years.
His best season with us was the 2016/17 season, and he was used as a squad player, that for me is the only way you will see the best of Willian. He's too inconsistent in attack to be relied on over a full season.
Also, his childishness just after we won the F.A cup has left me feeling a bit cold towards him. Instead of just being a professional and enjoying the moment, he acts like a child. This isn't standing up when sh*t hit's the fan, this is making things more hostile at the club. Instead of making childish digs at the manager, he should be trying to bring the team together so we can be successful on the pitch.

dembabarahman got a reaction from nominator in Next Chelsea ManagerI'd be ecstatic to have Zola back at the club, but I'm not sure DoF is the position for him, especially as (as far as I'm aware) he has zero experience in the role.
It's a real shame that Jody has left, as he could have been a great Assistant Manager, but I'm sure we'll see him (and Lamps) back at the club in the not so distant future.

dembabarahman got a reaction from Londonisblue in Chelsea V Liverpool (PL) Sun 6th May 16:30 UKOne of his better games but christ, Bakayoko scares me every time he gets the ball. His first touch is atrocious.
Rudiger and Hazard joint MOTM for me. Its a pleasure to watch Eden when he plays like he did today, just wish there was another quick, creative attacker he could link up with.
