Exact same thing happened to me.

What gets me is the negativity. He gets the ball in the left m/f position and instead of trying to get something going down the left and maybe even take a player on he constantly turns his back on the defender to sheild the ball and then rolls a 5 yds square pass in field. When he first came Drogs raved about his crossing. I think they're related.

Can't comment on that Mod as I didn't see the game but this season on the whole I think he has been poor and very negitive.

Tend to agree Gem. Our expectations of Essien and Lampard is a lot greater because of what they have delivered in the past so I can see through the odd bad game. Malouda and Kalou are constantly serving up sh*t. Malouda has slipped back to pre Gus days.
