No way worth paying 50m for him. Our starting MF trio would be Jorg/Kante/RLC anyway so paying that much for a sub is not worth it. I actually wouldnt even mind giving Bakayoko another shot based off last seasons performances, but we'll see about that.

Would rather have Bakayoko back on his current form as a squad player (RLC obviously starts over him) than to spend £50m on Kovacic. He did have his moments where he looked spectacular (like the game against Arsenal in the EL final) but a few moments dont make up for a whole season of mediocrity.

Well that is might impressive! Great replacement for the outgoing Cahill and ageing Luiz. With quality pass stats like that it looks as if he can maybe even usurp Luiz this season!

Couldnt agree more tbh. And in all honesty, it goes way further back than just Sarri and Conte, its been a problem for as long as I can remember. Im not sure why we are this way, the manager seems to get the lions share of the blame, and the fans are quick to turn on them. Actually quite frustrating because some of the managers that have been sacked too early for us, have gone on to perform well at other places. I really do wish Sarri would have stayed, but it looks like thats not happening anymore.

Hoping Alonso is the one to go, because he has been poor for a long time now. Emerson actually seems to be quite the player.

Then its a case of whats worse: 1) Knowing we might be getting banned for 3 windows, so we need to buy as many reinforcements as possible now 2) Do nothing now, and be banned for 2 windows with our current squad.. Personally, id rather go for option 1. At least that way, if we make the right signings, couple with our youth players we won't actually need to buy anyone else for the foreseeable future and be okay. Whereas with our current squad, going 2 windows without being able to sign anyone at all seems a bit of a nightmare.

Well thats stupid isnt it? We could have just appealed to freeze it for this summer, so we can actually go a bit crazy and make as much transfers as possible. And then if the ban gets overturned, great news. But if we are banned for 2 windows, we would have already made the necessary reinforcements and not have to suffer like we are going to now if the ban sticks.

I remember when heists first came out, and it was probably one of the most stressful times in my life. The combination of terrible servers mixed with noobs everywhere made it near impossible to complete without suffering

Though I haven't even touched GTA in months, I still have quite a bit of money courtesy of glitches, but even then I dont think it will be enough if its going by the last few R* DLC's... Sitting on 38m online, but I sure as hell can't be bothered to play and grind that game to get more money. What platform do you play on?

A shame hes gone, but if there's some sort of buyback clause in there I'm good. Really think we could have got more money than the pathetic 10m thats being touted though. Big Pete will need to change up the way we do loans in future. Instead of buying random players and loaning them straight out, they should almost entirely be comprised of academy players (Mount, Aina, Tammy etc..) and our first team players who struggled to find form for us, who can try redeem themselves at another big club (Bakayoko, Morata, Kenedy etc..) Buying players for the sole purpose of loaning them out like Piazon, Nathan, Pasalic etc have ended up being pointless 99% of the time.

So f**king happy seeing this. 100% deserved, especially after the great season hes had and how terrible that fraud De Gea has been. I hope to see him cement his place there, and I can only see him getting better and better from here. I was actually a bit skeptical when we paid 70m for a keeper who frankly I haven't heard of until we were linked with him, but it seems like it could end up being a bargain!

Fantastic to hear, the sooner we have him back the better. Quite timely that his injury came just as the season was ending, so he can recover through the summer period and hopefully be back as the season starts again.

Fair point, Would be wise to get Kante back to do what he does best and play in front of the defence. I think Bakayoko could possibly play as a Kante replacement.

I hope you are right because we have a massive amount of deadwood out on loan. Its almost a bit strange, our loan army is either split into junk that'll never make our starting XI or serious young talent that just need some minutes at a good league. Of course there are some exceptions like Bakayoko, who seems to have made a massive turnaround, but I'm all for lowering the number of loanees and be left with quality and not quantity.
