Armando Broja
Havertz playing there is really our plan B though, because our Lukaku signing failed so badly. I'm pretty sure the original idea was not to play Havertz at centre forward. I'm stil not sure why we bought Werner, but we didn't give him that many chances as centre forward before putting him out on the wing. We are a bit more forgiving on our wingers than centre forward. That said, Broja is more raw than Havertz and Werner. Rightly or wrongly he is not going to get the same chances from Tuchel.

Mason Mount
If I'm Reece or Mount I'm asking for 300k pw.
-
Reece James
Typical Werner, gets himself in all the right places but can't do anything with the ball.

Armando Broja
Benzema took about 10 years to develop into the player he is today. He was nowhere near this level when Ronaldo was leading the line for them. If it's going to take Broja a similar amount of time to get there I'm sadly unconvinced we have that level of patience. We tend to just buy the finished article at the centre forward position and if it doesn't work we just buy someone else we think is the finished article.

Conor Gallagher
Gallagher doesn't need anymore loans, he is ready to breakout if we just give him the chance. Send Colwill to Lampard he could start there and play 30+ premier league games for them.

Christian Pulisic - Official
Pulisic is very talented and IMO miles better than Kalou, but he needs a team built around him in a roaming semi-free role like USA, Messi Argentina and last couple of years of Hazard at Chelsea. We currently do not play to his strengths at all. Unfortunately despite being very talented he is still nowhere near the talent of Messi or prime Hazard so not really going to succeed here under tuchel as we are clearly not going to build the team around him.

Antonio Rudiger
Can't blame him at all. We severely lowballed him on the first offer. His market value is at least 200k pw and considering it would also cost us about 70-80m to replace him, it would have been cheaper just to offer him 300k, which he would have accepted if we offered it last year before January.

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
It would be a problem for Mase and James. If I'm them why the hell should I be gambling my salary on my fitness when literally no other club would have such a ridiculous clause. Also let's show some respect and loyalty to Kante, just because he's not as good as he was doesn't mean we should flip him asap. United could have sold Scholes and Giggs at 31 but they didn't and won many more trophies for the club even though they were past their best. We don't want to be Arsenal.

Chelsea v Liverpool (FA Cup Final) Sat 14th May 2021 16:45 GMT
Nah Mount is a great player but he really shouldn't take a penalty ever again.

Mount is just horrendously bad at penalties. I wouldn't have picked azpilicueta either.

Welcome To Chelsea Thiago Silva *Official*
Just looking at last night he was abysmal and Benzema completely dominated him. About 80% at fault for the 1st goal for losing Benzema's run and leaving him wide open, and about 50% at fault for the second.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
He's not even that fast.

Christian Pulisic - Official
Cho doesn't seem to be excellent at anything. He has decent speed (not as good as pre injury), decent runs, decent dribbling, but isn't world class at any of them. Rarely beats a man off the dribble. I actually think his passing and finishing is below average for his position, and defensively he cannot play wingback. He's got a long way to go. Pulisic is probably worse in a lot of ways but is an elite dribbler and better finisher. I wouldn't have either of them in the starting 11 right now to be honest, Werner or Mount brings more to the position than either of them. Willian (defensively) and Pedro (finishing, runs) were both better too.

Mateo Kovačić
He doesn't score many, but when he does, it's a cracker!
-
Andreas Christensen
It's got nothing to do with formation, I brought in Terry because of your farcical argument that because Rudiger doesn't play in the middle of the 3 man defence that means he is inferior to Christensen. That's a load of rubbish. Rudiger is 1st choice at his position in the starting 11, Christensen is a backup. Therefore Rudiger is worth more.
-
Andreas Christensen
How does your logic make any sense? John Terry was never moved, does make him a sh*t defender? Rudiger always plays in that position because he's locked it down. He doesn't need to be able to play in the centre to justify his wages. Andreas has not locked down any position.
-
Andreas Christensen
Christensen isn't worth more than 140k although he could probably get more than that on the open market. Rudiger on the other hand is worth the 200k he is asking for.
-
N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
Agreed. About as bad for us now as Liverpool last season when all their central defenders were crocked then Fabinho and Henderson had to play in defence and got crocked also. Cost them a shot at the league, probably gonna cost us one this year too.
-
Billy Gilmour
Watched Arsenal Norwich. Pukki was sh*t. Gilmour needs to work on defensive positioning alot more if he wants to start for Chelsea in the pivot role, and he can learn that at Norwich. Keep him there he is getting good minutes. Being thrashed regularly should help his defensive awareness.

Andreas Christensen
If I was a Chelsea player with the over 30 contract policy there is no way I would allow my contract to expire when I am 30 or 31. I'd look to sign a new five or six year contract when I'm 29. Can't really blame either Rudiger or Christensen.

Conor Gallagher
Trevor is about even with Azpilicueta at 1st/2nd choice backup at centre half (3 positions) and RWB (1 position). In midfield If you don't displace one of Kovacic Kante or Jorginho, you are not even 2nd choice backup for 2 positions. Last year Kante Jorginho and Kovacic all played over 40 games. If we expect about 65 games over a season that's about 130 full 90 minute spots at central midfield. This only leaves about 10-15 full games for central midfield to be divided out in bits and pieces across 3-4 other players who are outside of the top three midfielders. Not enough minutes. If he can become 1st choice backup at centre midfield or gets lucky (with a longterm injury to a starting midfielder) then yes it would be worth his while to stay.
-
Conor Gallagher
He will need to displace one of Jorginho Kante or Kovacic for it to be worth his time to stay at Chelsea next year. RLC, Barkley, Saul, and Gilmour last year, don't get enough minutes for a 20 year old to develop. If he's only challenging for 4th choice he's still better off playing 30+ full games on loan at a team like Palace.
-
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
He's built like a tank I don't know why he is always getting injured.
-
Mason Mount
Needs to stop taking penalties, doesn't look convincing at all. Give them to the left back (either Chilwell or Alonso), or even CHO.
-
Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
No it's not, otherwise he wouldn't be shortlisted for ballon d'or. Chance creation isn't his job. Ball retention is.
