Not particularly, it's not 2021 anymore and he's not really played well for two years (although ofcourse some benefit of the doubt needs to be given for Poch tax).
It was obvious he wasn't going to be able to play the LCB/inverted role however, IIRC Tuchel said himself in the most bluntest of terms he was never in consideration for the former role in his system.
That new contract in 2023 is ageing into one of the worst decisions the club have made under these owners and it wasn't even nessesery, he still had ages left.

    Massive, massive overreactions in here.
Lay the blame at Sterling for not being good enough at all for the past 2 years.
Lay the blame at Chilly for not being able to keep fit and for being happy not to play football anymore.
Lay the blame at the premier league for making it so that academy players sold are pure profit.
Lay the blame at Badiashile for being amazing for 6 months and then looking like a sunday league player from then on.
Lay the blame at Chuk for not being able to keep fit at all.
Lay the blame at Marina for leaving an old, unathletic team for the new owners to clean up.
Have there been some bad signings? Yeah, but what club doesn't do that?

Good enough for a champions league semi-final but the logic from Poch is that he'll struggle against Burnley, Crystal Palace and Everton because they're tall and cross the ball a lot.

Lol please don't compare Rice and Caicedo.
Put the stats with no context aside for one second, Rice is miles ahead of Caicedo. I was clamouring for us to get Rice instead, but here we are. The board has some weird obsession with Caicedo.
Does Liverpool still want him for 110m?

The way he was dribbling it was like his shoes were tied together.
Chilwell has been finished for a while now. How do we have 3 left backs at the club but none are good enough? (Maybe Maatsen is, don't know yet)

Remember when everyone here and Chelsea fans in general were going apoplectic because Tuchel and Boehly bid for Gordon?
Gordon is the player that Mudryk should've been (at this point in his career).

I must be in the minority, I hate Liverpool but Arsenal winning the league is the stuff of nightmares for me personally with the Arsenal fans I know or work with.
Man City winning the league is the best outcome for me.

That would actually be the best thing that could happen if I would be so sh*t at doing my job and show the same attitude as Sterling.
Wake up and smell the coffee boss. Sterling is privileged to have this job knowing he could be abysmal and show zero character and still pocket his 350k every week.
For me and you and others it is a hustle out there and we'd lose our jobs if we were that bad and mos def our resumes would take a massive hit and we'd struggle for future jobs.
Why would it be different for Sterling? He plays for the club I love and invest my feelings in and he is absolute trash and looks like he does not even give a single f**k. He only came here for a one last massive contract and if you can't see this then it's your problem, not mine.

Can we just agree on not to post photos of Arsenal twats, please? Fair enough if you want to drool over ex-players that wore Chelsea blue, but I’d say that posting their happy faces with other teams colours, especially those pricks from North London, it’s not very nice.

Just calling a spade a spade, but you keep on pretending everything’s all right and Poch is doing a good job.  No doubt you’ll now try and twist some narrative that Wolves have a better squad than us.

I've avoided everything Chelsea for the most part apart from match day of late, and this is one of the main reasons.
It's just f**king miserable and I would rather take myself away from this negativity.

I think it's time we moved him on. His performances have been below average for a while when fit, and the "when" part is also a big reason to sell him. I feel for him and Reece, but we need our own Gusto there to take the reigns on this one, Chilwell is even unreliable as a backup at this rate.

I do appreciate your backing of Poch, you have a lot more patience than most, but the position Poch has us in is WAY worse than anything United or Arsenal have had to deal with. Jose, Emery, Klopp and Pep were never 11th and then putting out a defensive team against a team near the relegation zone.

The backing of Poch was always dependant on progress and he has us on roughly the same points as we had last season with no signs of improvement. A run to the Carabao Cup final where we lost a game against an injury hit Championship team and then suffered one of the most embarrassing losses since I've been a Chelsea fan in the cup final isn't progress.

Very important goal, for some reason it was some quality play by him in a small space and nice finishing.
Before the goal he brought some energy into the game, he was involved in possession and tried to create few counters but in terms of quality he wasn't there.
Credits needs to be given after putting an important goal to win the game. He's current scoring form is not bad at all, he has scored against Villa, twice against Palace and against Leeds.
Still a squad player for me.

I am a CPA reacted to Niall1905 in Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
Yeah I second this, purely from personal experience.
I snapped my ACL as a teenager playing 5 a side, had the reconstruction and physio to fix it but could never properly throw myself into the game the way I did before, particularly when it came to sharp turns. I would take an extra touch when cutting inside to stagger the movement, rather than one motion.
I would also find I would begin to slow down much sooner when coming to the end of sprinting after a ball to make sure I didn't come to a sharp halt, which led to defenders catching up much more easily.
That said, im sure (or at least Id hope) that the surgery and physio the players recieve is much better than what I got on the NHS.

I am a CPA got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
Not a physio but recovering from surgery is mental as much as it is physical.
Even if Nkunku 100% physically recovered, there will always always be something at the back of his mind regarding his knee. His mind will block his body from doing things pre-injury.
Him, Fofana and James won't be the same players they once were.

No we didn't. We lost to VVD, Luis Diaz and 9 U-19s players.
Do you think the reaction to this whole thing wouldn't be different if we lost in the same manner to Liverpool's full first team?

Asking for 150k a week but missed a 1v1 against a reserve keeper.
Can't wait for that pure profit in the summer, time to get rid of mediocrity.
