  1. I'm still not sure if you can really judge Mourinho's game to be ugly, defensive and non-entertaining. Despite the success he had with us, all I can say at the moment is just his style had more structures and is better organized than what Scolari presents at the moment. We have played some beautiful attacking games in the past - merit to him. But we have played some matches already - too many I'd dare to say - where we looked unorganized, mindless, at some point (against Roma) even headless. So all I can just say is Mourinho has presented a certain structure in the game that I'm missing now in Scolari's game and surely all I can say is that an organized structure is the better way.
  2. I'm sorry I'm just too far away to catch Stamford
  3. Look Stamford is skating (and not dead!): http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0...1474565,00.html
  4. As we're on Swiss jokes, another similar one. It is reported that it is true! A German, a Italian and a French are debating about the question where kids do come from, the Swiss is listening calmly to the debate. The German says: "I know it exactly, my mother has told me. The stork is bringing them as they've been ordered." The Italian disagrees: "The kids grow up from cabbages." The French is grinning. "I can't explain it to you in detail, all I can say is just: it has much to do with man and woman, a lot with the bed and pregnancy." The three can't agree on this issue and ask the Swiss. "Well", he replies, "of course this is different from canton to canton."
  5. Oh no, this'll mean they won't be interested in Drogba this January ;)
  6. *gg* if you like it well than we could keep them no problem. I've just browsed through the excellent galleries provided here and thought my own images (as they're no photos) quite don't fit. Most of my images are of Super Frank ... maybe I'll add one. Bonetti and Ossie ... Well I'll think about it. When I'm not that a busy woman I am now ... unfortunately

Bayern says he's going nowhere. Last stand of information
  8. He can't can't can't mean it seriously!
  9. It's too late for me to think of it properly but Cristiana didn't start as a superstar right away did he? Mancs did some work investing into him until he turned out becoming a spoilt child yearning for Real. I hope Stoch, Sinclair and Di Santo could improve either way. I hope Scolari would throw them onto the pitch more often - and not only in crashes of despair like he did with Stoch yesterday
  10. Malouda could even go to the Scouse where he wished to be after Mourinho's departure and even he'd go there I'd not mind. If Bosingwa upfront could provide more effective runs as he had when confused with defending than indeed he'd be a better option than Kalou, I agree
  11. Hi Loz, thanks. You can get of my whole album. Moi, it's in the user's gallery but last time I had a look at it it's not really worth looking
  12. I'd love to see Villa too, but last year he's said once he had one chance to move to Chelsea while Mourinho was still in charge but was dropped by the board (well this is what he was saying!). Pre-CL-match (the first CL match with AG in charge) he said he despises Chelsea and is lucky he didn't move. But don't know how he thinks about Chelsea now.

Heskey is a decent partner for a striker like Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter) who needs someone to open space for him. Judging from Drogba from last season and the season before last season, he seems to be capable of open spaces himself, given his strong physical ability. Maybe a Heskey could do Anelka some good.
  14. Is this why PK doesn't want to spend in January?
  15. Hopefully this game will give us enough spirit and self-confidence for the next period. Sure we should forget about the gooners soon and an EPL-away-win could give us the confidence that we need desperately.
  16. Interesting option you've mentioned, with Bosingwa as a winger as he does produce some decent crosses from time to time but lacks defensive greatness. As Ivanovic is better as a full back than as a right back I do believe either that Paulo would be the better option. But Ivanovic has said once he could also play right back as back then when we had Essien at that position it seemed to be the only one where he could make a first team apperance, so I thought it was somewhat like despair. I just have my doubts he could play right back as effectively as wished as the right flank is important to us because we used to be very weak at that side.
  17. Yes. It's hard to imagine they could do worse than Malouda and Kalou have done so far, despite having some good displays I'm not denying.
  18. So another one opportunity to enforce our upfront cut down. Great news
  19. Yes, this is an interesting point. When I have a look at some examples I either wingers are inconsistent in form or are likely to become injured, but rarely do they accomplish a full, long season. Very good observation.
  20. Agree on it fully. But what I'm asking is now - although Scolari's game relies much on good wingers he got rid of SWP anyhow ... though they used to play on different sides but was SWP really that much that Malouda got preferred? Or is it just the side?
  21. You mean the former Barca guy but now at the Spurs? Though Kalou and Malouda have had some great runs in the past I think one good performance in 10 games approximately is just not enough for earning a place in the squad. Personally I'd even like to add Anelka on this list, but then we'd be even without a man for our confidence 5-0 shows
  22. Arshavin won't save us from everything, but he is versatile enough to fit into our squad if he is willing to break something in the team. At least judging from what he does at Zenit he's far more effective than Malouda and Kalou currently.
  23. May I ask if there is an option to delete the uploaded pictures in the personal gallery again? I've just found out they do not really fit in here, before they become annoying I'd take them down
  24. It doesn't astonish me that Arnesen is questioned. We played beautifully today but failed to score and lost. We've now even proven that we can lost beautifully.
  25. To the second point: yes, I agree. When compared to the finale stages of last season where our team has fought to force the win against ManU at Stamford Bridge it seems the team has lost spirit and creativity. For Berbatov: Ramos was a cunning man that he demanded a record fee Kenyon was reluctant to pay
