Chippy got a reaction from saran75 in Leeds United vs Chelsea (FAC) Sunday 26th April 15:00 GMTBe nice if the lads put a bit more effort in for this, maybe someone should have made them watch the 70 final and replay so a little dig in the ribs wouldn't make them have to go off,
Not sure if the interim has watched the last few games but Hato is probably our most in form defender ( a stretch I know)
I'm past caring this season but this is Leeds, it's more than just a semi final.

Chippy got a reaction from DidierDrogbalala in Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Tuesday 21st April 20:00 GMTSorry to come on just after the game but I've got a bit going on,
Another horrible watch and possibly the most inept performance of the undeserved one's reign...
Garnacho coming on after his last showing was a kick in the nuts for Derry who should have got a chance tonight.
So much bad that you could go on and on so let's just hope the spirit of Abromovich haunts Egboly in his dreams tonight and he wakes up tomorrow realising a group of young players need an experienced or at least a passionate Manager to bring out the best in them.

Chippy got a reaction from C3blue in Chelsea vs Manchester United (PL) Saturday 18th April 20:00 GMTAnother painful watch,
Tge Manager didn't deserve the Job and that's down to the owners,
No ambition.
To make it worse at 0-1 he makes his usual defensive changes that are more likely to end up in us conceding than getting one back.
Much better days in the old second division losing to Rotherham, at least you were gutted and still shouting for the team instead of in some mental void watching an unholy alliance of unmotivated, badly coached players that don't seem to value the shirt.

If we don't get a proper manager in and a couple of experienced players to create some sort of mentality things are only getting worse.
Let's hope City win all their remaining games now.

Chippy got a reaction from erskblue in MOTM vs Everton (A) (PL)It's getting harder and harder to pick a mom,
Gone for Estaveo, is he the only winger we have that can go past someone instead of stopping and passing back?

I don't know if I believe that the manager is being told who to play and sub on.
If I was manager and played the team influenced by the board which results in bad football and poor results, I would rebel, play and pick the team that I WANT. If that generates way better performances and results, then the board can't do any sacking. I've never seen a manager sacked for winning.
I don't believe Maresca jeopardise his job and reputation to manage the team how the board requested.
-
The current manager is a problem because he is clearly not up to the job. That being said he is just one of many problems. We could bring in a new manager, but assuming it will be picked by the same clowns we will likely end up with the same end product. We need to get rid of the SD's and have somebody take the keys aways from Eghbali who is one of the biggest issues.
Then I think the owners would need to re-establish some connections with the fans by hiring some people with football knowledge/experience and some connections to the club. For example, Cesc as Manager and Cech back as Director. Sadly I don't see this happening.
-
Well we started poorly and just got worse. Rosenior somehow managing to make Maresca look like a tactical genius.
We might have been boring and ineffectual under Maresca but Rosenior has taken us to a new level of terrible. Naively, I thought Rosenior would at least make us organised and have a bit of fight about us. Instead, in a few weeks, our performance level has collapsed and the players have lost all belief in themselves, the manager, the club.
We’re just going from one shambles to the next. The question is not will Rosenior survive, but what comes next?
-
We’re terrible but a competent manager can get something out of these players. This is relegation form we’re in! The players have no idea what they are doing and he’s clearly lost the dressing room, you just know the players are taking the piss out of him behind his back with all his cringe antics. Get him gone today.
-
He is the one who is telling them to play around at the back week in week out and play slow ponderous football.
or if he isn’t, he is the one continuing to select the players who refuse to stop passing it around at the back and who refuse to stop playing slow ponderous football.
One of those things MUST be true. Either way, it’s unforgivable
-
By no means is Rosenior the main issue, but he needs to go regardless. Woefully out of his depth, we have conceded 1st for 8 gmaes on the spin. This is potter all over again.

"Tosin and Delap are coming on" might be the worst six words in the English language

Chippy got a reaction from Valerie in Chelsea vs Paris Saint-Germain (UCL) Tuesday 17th March 20:00 GMTThere's a lot wrong at this club from top to bottom but I'm convinced that if when Maresca went they brought in a proper elite manager we would still be challenging.
It 's bad enough buying too many young players some admittedly with huge potential but with not many experienced players in the squad to help bring them on the only real hope is a quality manager.
I think a lot of their mistakes, a lot of their can't be bothered to run errors and a lot of the all round performances are coaching issues and a top coach would be coaching that out of them.
I don't see CL for a while with this approach and although I've supported Chelsea for 60 years I've become as spoiled as the newer fans with the expectancy.
We all need to bring that down about three levels...
We look like a mid table team and we play like a team fighting relegation.

I agree Chippy I’ve been supporting this lot since the mid 60’s. Together we’ve seen some good sides, great sides and poor sides but each of them had heart, fire, desire and leadership …this lot sadly has neither one.
While I understand what Boehly was trying to do it has been a complete cluster fcuk by getting rid of an experienced manager at the outset, and then not having anyone around the club that could guide him and educate him about this league and football in general. You just can’t have 11 inexperienced players in this league; you either have all veterans or a sprinkling of youth with EPL experienced players. You build an experienced spine and work from there, but they threw the guide book out the window together with the experience both in the front office and on the pitch and here’s the result. The defence has been a disaster since Clearlake took over and then not having club have done nothing to address it and you wonder when heads drop we get trounced.
My heart goes out to the fans that turn out home and away to watch these inept performances…if I was Todd, I’d rip up the plan and start again next season and get rid of these bang average players including 90% of the so called ‘defenders’…
