Sounds like Juventus have entered the chase from the rumour mongering point of view, of course we rarely if ever know the actual going downs (just look at Marin). But ya with Hulk that would be quite the front four, with Torres as the only real question mark and with Hazard and Hulk with things to prove.

I think with the Hazard signing that kind of ends our Moura chase, I think it might be better to have a slightly more proven (at least in the European leagues) player in Hazard.

By the gossip it sounds like he may sign on Friday, if this is all official. My assumptions would be that he would sign after, but I guess he might want to sign before to get the media circus over with before his holidays immediately after the England match.

Although there is some debate as to whether van der Wiel is just a cheaper and possible more offensive Bosingwa (also with less unibrow). Not sure how much better overall as a player he is if you bring in the defensive aspects.

I think it's incredibly possible for us to get both, no way that its 100% positive, but well within the realm of reason.

Be sad if Cech scares Courtois away, but either way Cech deserved an extension after this season, he was one of the catalysts of our European victory.

Ya I like the assist thing too, there is a reason why certain players get more than others, a la a Mata and that tells you something about their game. I just wish their was a some consistency on it, the PremierLeague.co.uk site used to have accurate statistics for goals and assists but there is not even a bulk link to goals anymore, only the top 5 or so goal scorers, seems pretty slack to me.
