I would have to agree, you need those big game players to win things and certainly Drogba filled the bill now we need to search for new talent to fill the net.

I really don't see Marin as anything more than a depth player at his fee and past contributions unless he really breaks into some kinda flow.

Ya I didn't mind the pitch invasion, hey if the guy wants to risk getting arrested as a way to express his excitement at winning that is his cost to risk. Here in Canada they will often hang jerseys up when they are retired in the sports team's facility, but what often happened is that some of the teams retired too many jerseys. What they ended up doing was having a an honoured numbers where they would hang those jerseys up. I would think something similar could happen here.

I would guess Doumbia would play as a winger and bench player most likely.

Even if Hulk does come, which I think he should, I can still see him splitting a lot of time with Ramires. As others have said that he is not good against top teams, well he and Ramires are the exact opposite as the Ram man seems to perform best against top talent. They would be great counter-balances to each other.

If we bring in wingers like Hazard and Hulk there would be no reason why Torres and Lukaku couldn't succeed down the middle. On top of that if we bring in Falcao or any other striker would that not just scare away Lukaku? He'd be 4-6 years away from starting here then.

The only reason a Mario Gomez scores so many goals is because of wingers like Ribery and Robben. If Chelsea would bring in a Hazard and a Schurlle this could at least keep Torres a competitive 15 goal a year scorer and hopefully more.
