Whatever we think about Contes decision on this one it sends a signal to the rest of the lot. We finally have a manager who does not accept player power and that is exactly what we need now after years of exactly that, especially with all of the old guard gone now. I personally love how Conte has dealt with all of this even though it sucks to lose a player like Diego, but none is bigger then the club. The reality is that he nearly f**ked us over during the winter window and could have cost us the title in the end, he was convinced by Conte to stay but he never really got back to the form he had pre christmas. Conte probably knew that he would ship Diego in the summer back in his mind due to that behaviour and also talks as soon as the season ended that he wanted to go to Atl Madrid in January 2018 when their ban is gone. We can't have a player whos heart is not in it, who suddenly just gets his head turned. Now if Lukaku is the man to replace him remains to be seen.

Hope we change that next season. I would not read too much into it if you can get the best out of the team in 38 games and reach a final.. on the day we were poor and it isnt him playing at the end of the day. I think it was a bit of a title hungover mixed with Arsenal wanting it a lot more.

I'm still somewhat annoyed, to have such an off day on a cup final day. Too much partying after the title? no clue what it was but just dreadful. I think we stood a chance if Moses would have passed the ball to Cesc instead of taking a silly dive.

Costa will stay, so will Hazard. If we want to take this team to the next level we need BIG signings. Tammy and the Bakers should be given a loan in the PL to see what they can do here, Traore I would love him in the squad with Christensen. Zouma, what happens to him? he was promising but since the injury not sure anymore. We need to look at players like Radja, Walker, Sanchez.. 1-2 world class signings is needed. After this season Conte really should be given a huge check to spend to improve so we can challenge the big spanish sides and after that shambolic FA Cup final the board should have waken up. Virgil Van Dijk should be looked at as well. If one of the defenders decides to have a dreadful season we need quality back up. The team in Sweden I support, Hammarby have some of the best support in Europe. Not the best team by anymeans but if you ever come to Sweden and love football make sure to visit a game if you want some great atmosphere. Even in Division 2 we had a full stadium every weekend, compared to other Stockholm teams who cant even sell out. We share stadium with Djugården and its an embarassment almost when you compare the match days. Full vs not even half full unless its a derby. I just can't stand him no more, thankful for what he done for us but the comments, how he acts just gets on my bloody nerves. He celebrated like he won the CL yesterday only looking back at 2013 where he said he would never want to win the EL. Great job parking the bus vs a U23 side. I think Utd will be fed up soon enough with his antics and football. This isnt 2004/5 anymore and hes lagging behind for me once he comes out and plays vs the giants.

Today is a day with mixed feelings. Lifting the trophy but also saying farewell to a legend. Luckily the game is on TV here in Sweden. Disgrace that they can't show all games on the last day of the season really. Come on Chelsea, lets make it 30 wins, lift the trophy - celebrate and then give John the best sending off possible. Hope he comes back to the club soon again and works some sort of position within the club.
