Not too long back Carlo was the one that he "wanted" and look at what happened to him. Pep looks a very unrealistic choice though and it seems he's happy being at Barcelona.

Some strong rumours going around that he is linked with a move to Hamburg for 3.5 million Euros. Nothing official yet but if it is indeed true it would possibly be a win-win situation for all the parties involved.

And how exactly has he proven that? Neymar hasn't achieved anything in his national colours and neither has he made a mark in Europe. On the other hand Aguero has won the Europa League with Athletico and has been a pretty regular feature in a very competitive Argentine side. The issue with Aguero could be if he does not move this window he may turn out to be a big fish in a small pond. Right now I'd take Aguero over Neymar right away. P.S: I am not even getting into Neymar and his mood swings/ theatrics which makes Robino look like an infant.

In the good old days reserve games were also used as a game to get an established player back to match fitness. Sadly today none of the clubs see it that way and prefer to give most of the first team players a run out in a cup/league game rather than taking the old route.

As much as I'd wish to see the same it looks unrealistic that we will have a stable manager under Roman. If Carlo couldn't save his job after a double its probably an indication that we are going down the Real Madrid way where what you achieve in the past has no bearing on the present. I hope we are not going down that route but fear that we are close to it.

I am sure that there is work underway for a successor but if the article is true and the console still does not have a case which means there is still a lot of work to be done and it would take atleast a year till the console is ready to be launched. Err in that case what are the replacements for?

Must say that you've pulled the comment out of context but I shall respond in any case. In my earlier response to Nibs I have clearly mentioned that I dint like the manner in which we sacked Wilkins but I am not sure about Carlo since we are yet to hear from any of the parties involved. Unless Carlo or someone from the board spills the beans (like in case of Wilkins) I wont jump the gun and criticize.

If your referring to the Wilkins dismissal I'd agree with you that things could have been handled better but right now I fear many fans are buying what the media is trying to portray. Which may not be true plus we all know how much the media loves us.

Its is in the public eye if its Chelsea FC for the rest (UNited and Arsenal) there is a blind eye for the media. Whether or not Carlo deserved the sack is discussed in the other thread but the manner in which it was done is pure speculation for now. So lets not jump the gun !!

Of course I dont expect us to sign all of them but if we do sign at least a couple it would be possible to move to a new system.

Not sure what you are indicating, we never had a stable manager for a long period even before Roman came in. Its the way we as a club have functioned and I dont see where the "classless" bit is stemming from.
