Yes we should continue playing Anelka and Drogba even when its evident they are past it.

The flip side to changing to a new disc format is that we may not hear about a next gen console from Microsoft for a while now. Which is sad since they were the first movers in the current gen era and also have the inferior console in terms of hardware configuration.

With all this news about Tevez wanting to leave it would be surprising if Aguero dint turn up for City. Not sure they need a player like him but City seems to be a place to accomodate anyone that is looking for a transfer. If this presents an opportunity to sign someone like a Johnson or Dzeko we should be ready to snap them up.

Dont see Hiddink leaving the Turkey job before the Euros as he did the same with Russia. I maybe wrong and he may indeed join us but Van Basten as the manager and Hiddink as the director of football looks a lot more realistic to me as things stand.

I have my reservations about Drogba willing to play a role from the bench or being a bit part player. Its just unlike his character - he thrives on being challenged and of course we all know he loves the limelight. Not sure such a player would be willing to play a lesser role in a team which was built around him. Also it doesn't exactly make tactical sense since there is only one way Drogba plays and it looks like that style of play is now under transition under the new manager. I maybe proved wrong in the future but it looks like the club is now aware that a transition is very much the need of the hour (as stated in the article about parting way with Carlo).

I believe football is one of those sports where the captain plays a huge role when the team is in dire need to inspiration. Just look at Arsenal and you'd understand what I am trying to indicate, they have clearly lacked the leadership since Viera/ Henry left and as good as a player Cesc might be I dont think he was ready to take on the role when he was handed it. Its evident even in todays squad that there are no real leaders in the Arsenal side and that maybe a reason they have'nt really pushed us/ united during the business end of the season.

Another surprising omission in that lineup seems to be Juan, unless he is injured I cant think of a reason he is dropped too. Luisao and Silva are pretty good defenders but when fit i'd like to think Alex is an automatic selection ahead of the two. Though Brazil's national team selection has always surprised fans given the managers that they have had recently.

Anyone out there who has played this one? Pretty excited about getting my hands on this, though a first hand review would be great.

Not exactly old games and with most of them having an IGN rating of 8.4 & above I believe its a steal for the PS3 owners. For sure that was not the best bit of PR but some users need to understand that the PSN is a free service and the current package is potentially worth 60$ and above. To me its a good enough compensation for the down time that we have suffered.

I agree to the point that he may be a little over-rated but to suggest that there are lots of good managers out there to replace him may not be true. I am not sure apart from Jose, Hiddink and possibly Van Gaal if there are any candidates who would be lesser risk than backing Carlo. We can surely back someone younger like Van Basten but hiring someone like him would need perseverance and patience. Those two traits are not exactly what Roman symbolizes and therefore my fear of hiring someone young like Van Basten.

In almost every interview he has given he has stated his interest to stay in England and having seen him perform for Swansea you can safely asssume that he will find a club in England.

Been following the league for a while now and to be honest I dont think its going to be apart from us and United for the title. I may sound a bit cocky out here but if Arsene continues to be stubborn and if mancini continues to play his defensive game I dont see any threat to our CL spot. Though what I do fear is that if we do not act soon United may build a gap given their younger squad.
