f**k Hulk, he could have stayed at Porto but he will waste in a second rate league where he can count his mega pay packet in great comfort. This is a typical, stupid and ill timed transfer by us. Window closed and we sell a player. Meireles isn't a first team player player but as a squad player he's ok. I'm just dumb struck by this transfer as it makes no considering we let Essien go on Friday.

I totally agree but I don't feel the powers that be rate him and I think he will move on. I hope not but do you honestly think he will get games when there is Marin, Moses, Piazon around?

I like him a lot and I would have thought Yossi was their kind of player myself? Does Dembele have 1 year left on his contract?

I still think Hulk will join us before the deadline and I can see Sturridge leaving for either the spuds or even the red side of Liverpool. What do you all think?

I thought it was a much improved performance, the defence played well and the link up play between Hazard and the rest was outstanding. I do still worry about having enough options up front if anything goes wrong and I am just praying that Torres can continue playing the way did he for the rest of the season! I do hope all the so called 'experts' write us off.

We like doing last minute transfer deals, if Hulk doesn't go to Zenit soon I can imagine a deal for him..

In - A new striker. Hulk or Dembele. I think we will pay the money for Hulk but I like Dembele as well. What do people think of Dembele? Out - Malouda, Yossi and Essien maybe.

Javi Martinez. I think Luiz is fantastic and has the potential to be a great for us but when he makes his inevitable mistake in a game, I guarantee the ones who are singing his praises now would put the knife into him.

I agree about Torres, he made some basic mistakes in possession and I think signing another forward might be the end of him. He thinks and probably expects to be the main man up front. Mata looks like a man who needs a rest and the defence looked fragile! I know the season has just started but we will have to sharpen up when we meet the bigger teams.
