I've always liked Fellaini and he would be a great signing for us but for some reason the powers that be can't see that. We will need a new central midfielder in the next year( Essien should go, he's best days have gone) and this guy seems about perfect.

I'm not surprised he's been sacked, some of his tactics were bizarre and naive. The problem was that he should have imposed his authority on the squad from the start and shipped out some of the so called big names. The players should be ashamed of themselves and it's clear that they think they run the club. f**k them I say, they should be run out of the club. I'm so pissed off with the players and the board. Hi, This is my first post so here goes. The rot started when Jose was sacked and I do think Carlos deserved the sack, clueless in the end and don't forget under him we had 2 awful champions league campaigns and no youngsters come close to the first team. I was hopeful that AVB would start clearing out the deadwood from the squad (Drogba, Kalou, Malouda, Obi) and bring in some new blood but it seems he has no faith in the youngsters either. Where's Josh and Ryan? let's play them because at the moment I think CL is unlikely next season. I'm sorry to be a bit down for my first ever post but yesterday was just dreadful. Steve
