He had 7 interceptions and 8 clearances besides that tackle. If they were slating him during that sort of performance, then they weren't exactly the brightest bulbs, were they?

David Luiz will always be a legend to me because of that goal against Man Utd. He may have a 'unique' style to defending but it is exciting!

I would be gutted if this happened. As someone said selling one of our top young players to a rival? We are not ARSEnal FC! We need to be keeping our best players. I said it last year, within another year or two Luiz will be one of the best defenders in the league.

Depends. 30m is a lot. To play the fantasy game that would cover a reinvestment in Javi Martinez who would cover DM and CB. We would be silly not to consider it.

That said Luiz does provide a great deal of energy on and off the pitch. That is important to a squad.

Don't see any truth in this at all, he's worth more than 30 anyway with that potential, like I've said on here in the last few days, he's matured so much in the last 8 months or so, unsellable tbh.

If we ink Azpilliceuta or whatever his name is, maybe it happens as Ivan wants more CB play (even though he's a goal machine at RB!)

Luiz occasionally makes my heart skip a beat or 2, 3. Someone like Kompany is more the finished product, but in the future Luiz may give us more than Kompany.
