I do too. We have bought very few ouright duds since he took over. My only gripe is that he seems overly eager to buy younger unfinished players that he feels the club can develop into top class players and then hes part of a team that hires managers not known for player development. Seems to be a bit of a discord in expectations between him as our technical director and our managers. I get the fealing that Emenalo would like to give our youths more of an oppurtunity to play, but thats not really possible due to the expectations from Roman and the profile of managers we hire

Def agree if we are playing 3-5-2. Im more talking about a 3rd midfielder for the pivot role in a 3-4-3. I think Drinkwater would be a better fit than Nzonzi here. He has at least a bit of a passing range to him. If we play 3-5-2 you are right, I would rather olay Haz or Fab as that extra "midfielder", we currently dont have the wingbacks for 3-5-2 though

Disagree, think we could use someone who has a better range of passing. We are so dependent on Luiz to come up from his CB position to initiate pnay because neither Matic or Kanté has that ability. Doesnt have to be a Cesc level passer, just someone who offers a little more in that area.

It was implied that we were talking about B2B midfielders. Unless you think signing Sigurdsson as a CM is a good idea? Maybe we can just play Hazard as a CM next to Kanté? I mean hes a scoring midfielder

Yes it was. Alli Coutinho snd Sigurdsson are basically forwards or second strikers. And therefore not relevant in the discussion about scoring box to bix midfielders. As for Nzonzi, good player but offers very little that Kanté and Bakayoko dont. Would prefer someone with bit different skilset

25 is probably the most theyll get now. They are in much the same boat as us with Diego. Koeman had gone out and said hes not going to be here next season and that he will be sold. They already bought his replacements, but interest in Barkley isnt all that high so they will have to settle for 30 or less if they hope to get him off their books

Ramires also scored goals and had an incredible stamina, I think the comparison is fairly spot on. Both great off the ball, excellent atheletes, hard workers, can pop up with a goal and they are both severly lacking any passing range and are extremely inconsistent. Wouldnt mind him, but have very few qualities we dont alteady have in Bakayoko and Kanté

His positioning is quite literally his worst attribute. He is constantly out of position, had no idea were the rest of the mine is so he is keeping players onside all the time. He also has no idea how to time a header, so any jump ball into the zone behind Adpi is dangerous. Azpi isnt a great header either, but he makes up for it with ekite positioning and timing. Athletecism,1 on 1 defensively and work rate, those are his good attributes. Youre right paragraf is spot on though, Moses would be better if he was better.
