I think that the club see's Luiz as the posterboy in the coming years and maybe see him as a future captain. Doubt he will be going anywhere for a long time.

Wallace has really impressed, played well each time. Kalas and McEachran have been solid throughout (Kalas a bit dodgy today at times). Piazon has been very disappointing IMO, struggled to get into the games and has looked a bit off the pace.

Risky, yes, but 3rd party ownership isn't exactly renowned for being careful, and compliant. It could even be that Falcao has told them he was a certain age when he joined them.
