  1. I think Luis has been good almost every game he's played in. The only bad signings have been Salah and Cuadrado, the rest have been spot on.
  2. I was at a Kanye gig last year and it was fantastic, haven't seen his Glasto performance so can't comment on that though.
  3. Have to say that i'm surprised this bloke is still here, will end up being the highest scorer in United history AND England history and will quite possibly end up the highest scorer in Premier League history too by the time his career is over, Wayne Rooney. He should pair up quite nicely with Henry and Cantona. And i'll also have one of the all-time greats of German football, Michael Ballack. Cole, Vidic, Xabi Alonso
  4. Surprised that they sold Clyne for 1/3 what they sold Shaw for when he's probably further along than Shaw was in his development.
  5. Every time there is a break from football Jose is apparently joining Real and/or United, this is even more boring than the annual Hulk links.
  6. The thought of having to justify his inclusion in my team isn't worth it.
  7. I assume the other one is Mikel?
  8. Some would say that it is almost voyeur-like.
  9. Yep, by United's official magazine. It was in 2001 though to be fair. Those sort of votes generally favor those whose greatness immediately precede them.
  10. Arsenal; a team without an established first choice keeper, with a problem with consistency, particularly defensively, and that is relatively young with next to no experience in winning titles is receiving Petr Cech; one of the worlds top keepers who is extremely consistent, very experienced and a drilled in winner. for roughly 40% of what we paid for Juan Cuadrado.
  11. I'll take the man voted by United fans as their greatest ever player, and the man who defined the defensive midfield role. 12. Well, we've greatly strengthened probably our most serious title rival for peanuts, great bit of business there then.
  13. yes, but it's not too early to be disappointed that we're getting Falcao and selling Cech to Arsenal.
  14. So we'll happily let Cech go to Arsenal for peanuts but we won't let Mikel leave. I blame Kenyon.
  15. Lukaku did break through, except then he wanted to be #1. If a young striker is happy playing 2nd or 3rd fiddle to Costa (and Remy) and he has anywhere near the sort of loan experience Lukaku had, he'd be a shoe in for a squad spot.

    First episode spoilers
  17. He's not an idiot, he's not ignorant, he clearly knows the importance of rivalries in football and knows that Chelsea and Arsenal hate each other. Therefore in choosing to go to Arsenal, when presumably there were other equally lucrative offers outside of London, it's essentially a big f**k you to the people who have supported him for the last decade. It's even worse than Lamps because at least he was past it.
  18. Nice to see that Mikel has replaced Torres as the obligatory troll pick. Coming next year: Falcao
  19. Jonty replied to Zola's topic in Entertainment
I thought the first episode was fairly straight forward, what didn't you understand? I don't expect it to be as good as the first season, simply because the cast can't match up to McConaughey and Harrelson, but it looks pretty good so far.
  20. Would love if he doesn't win a single trophy at Arsenal, all the best to him though.
  21. I disagree, Szczesny is a absolute knob, last thing we need is a bench player that smokes in the showers and takes w**ky on-pitch selfies after almost every game.
  22. Bizarre that the most vocal supporter of Falcao can write Alex Song off as not being an upgrade to the squad.
  23. To help out Footballoholic Jonty: Henry Teritus: Keane footballoholic: Ronaldo Northern Monkey: Van Der Sar dan_cfc: Lampard barak81: Drogba ForeverCarefree: Terry Chelsea190512: Scholes, Ash. Cole
  24. I suppose Anton Ferdiand's contract got lost in the mail.
  25. Would be a massive upgrade on Mikel and would provide some actual decent cover if Matic were to get injured or suspended. This one gets my tick of approval, assuming Mikel were to leave. Having both would really hurt RLC's chances.
