Last weeks FA Cup triumph brought down the curtains on a season that, for us, has been more up and down than Abbey Titmus's buttocks.

Throughout the season we have been voting for our MOTM in every game (even in the really sh*t games - i.e. Spurs in the league) and I have been keeping track of the votes cast. Provided below is an analysis of the results.

With Ashley Cole getting so few MOM votes, I can only guess that a lot of people tended to vote for their favourite player rather than the best player on the day. I'm not mentioning any names here, but did a certain young lady from Sarrffff East London ever vote for anybody other than Frank Lampard during the course of the season? :D

Actually Loz there may be some mileage in this where you may be able to get on to the pitch to present Lamps with an award. Supporter clubs tend to get onto the opitch before games to present their awards, maybe you could do something similar? I'm willing to put something forward towards a trophy if everyone's in agreement.

Much more useful than those big heavy trophies, maybe we could stretch the budget to a nice velvet blue lined presentation box for the above mentioned ?

NOt a bad thought. We have some spare money in the kitty just now so I could kick off the fund with £50.

Just getting kids to bed just now so will giv it some thought tonight and maybe do a bit of web searching to check out prices etc.

I don't see the problem Loz. I for one would be more than happy to go round his place and get it back.

An idea might be to make these weekly awards though.

I'll happily chuck a tenner into the pot so that there's something for Gem to go round and fetch back! I think it's an excellent idea.

You can chuck a grand at it if you like but that isn't going to allow Gem to legally circumvent the restraining order.

excellent stuff, think cech's value / the amount of points he's won us is still very high.. I think fortunately most of his mistakes have not proved overly costly in the grand scheme of things.
