I missed 20 minutes of the second half but got back for the last 10 minutes. Ashley Cole was the stand out performer for me.

Drogba for me. Always a threat lurking around the box, and opening their defence up all the time. It's just with ten men behind the ball, it's hard to squeeze it through them.

It was between Lamps and Drogba and I went for Drogba - for his fantastic goal and his overall contribution. He gave their defense all kinds of trouble.

didnt get to see much as my stream was dogsh*t, but every time it did work it seemed to show ash cole bombing on all the time so ive gone for him.

couple of contenders for me lamps and ash cole, lamps was slow getting started but his pass for drogba was excellent and he looked very commanding, needs to find his shooting boots though,

i think cole just edged it for me, he got forwrd really well, and had malouda not had a mare up until the 90th odd minute, cole would have destroyed the stoke defence but ash was making runs forward and malouda always seemed to pass it backwards or infield

Agreed, for a cross I don't mind him taking them, but the shots should be left to Drogba and Ballack IMO.

That said, his freekick against Ipsh*t last season was spectacular... got 0% acknowledgment from the press though.

True, it was brilliant, although after seeing it countless times, it does take a minor deflection off the wall...just throwing it out there :)
