Not heard that track for yonks fella  thanks for the smelling salts .

If a white man sang that song today  with just those 3 opening words he be in big big trouble ,and if that was a white artist that released 

this stunning track it would be wiped out today .

Take todays rap music out of the scene since its pure trash ,you be hard to find any black man or women who ever sounded bad 

with what ever music they made .Rock en Roll  Soul,Disco,early Hip Hop Even Gospel Church music got me tapping my feet .

Then you have to mention the black persons dress culture as they could just wear anythjng and look comfortable and cool .

There is no way that i could wear a yellow suede looking full suit ,or any other different race of man and get away with it like Mr.Mayfield does.

Iam off to watch the Soul Train now since its all in there with the dancing and moves not from my time .

 

 

 

 

^^^Very moving version. He has done some excellent covers and some good solo stuff, but I'm not much of a fan of Pearl Jam's stuff. I like a handful of their songs but am pretty underwhelmed by most of what I've heard. I remember reading an online comment by someone who bought a best of PJ compilation, and wrote 'sh*t, if that's them at their best...'

You're welcome. If you have a chance listen to Mama Thornton's version of Hound Dog. For me, far superior to that sung by Elvis.

Could not locate a comedy section so i landed in here . I have just listend to this comedy gold 

from talk sport and the chelsea connection is JasonCundy .

Your are correct fella as it very different to the Elvis one and its well worth the listen .

iam gojng to only try and source new music artists to me this week ,with the policy that the footage via 

you tube has to be filmed in black/white .That should help open my ears and eyes

Had a gander at that not knowing anything about the band or track , it kept my attention since it was some chaps playing instruments 

aka as a band . If was not a wasted 3 mins either as i quite enjoyed it .The video was very good aswell might i add
